During the mid-summer night Irene wanted to take a walk that  would cool her from the heat that surrounded her. As she took her steps she would listen in onto the bugs and cicades that would churp along with the twinkling stars. She became astound when she saw a falling star flash by, smiling ear to ear. But then she heard cans rattle in the dark alley way she decided to head back. Walking in and out of the lights posts was giving her bad vibes, she turned back and head back to her foster house from which she snuck out of. Quickly changing her pace from walking to sprinting, Irene's heart started to beat faster and faster, matching the beat of the footsteps that followed behind her! Once she reached her front gate Irene looked back once more, only to find that the illusion that she had was no longer there! Calming herself, she opened the gates only to hear the creaking of the old metal and feeling of pain on her neck.
