Six months. It's been six months and I haven't found anyone I can connect with. They either turn out to be trolls, too desperate, or not my type at the end of the day. The reason why I joined was to meet new people because working in the office is so limited. I basically only know my co-workers and a few friends I've met in high school and college. But also, in the back of my mind, I hope to find someone just for me. Using a dating app isn't uncommon and I hear people do find their match, so I don't feel so bad about it. Even my friends Himchan and Jongup made one. Well, Jongup made one because we forced him to and he also just wanted to troll the internet.

  I'm sitting in the back seat while Himchan drives to out next destination. Jongup is sitting in the passenger, knocked out with his mouth wide open. I can see Himchan glancing at him and rolling his eyes because we did agree whoever sits in the passenger seat has to be the one making sure that the driver is awake.

  Looking out the window, I see trees lining the area until they cut off to reveal a university with it's many buildings and beautiful fields. I can't help but stare at it and remember my college days. They were great but sometimes I did feel a bit lonely when I find some of my friends having boyfriends or girlfriends while I was ocassionally third-wheeling. I heave a sigh.

  Himchan hears from the front. "We're almost there. Don't get so anxious."

  That's not really why I was sighing, but whatever. I open the dating app and checked to see whoever is in the area. Doing the usual swipe left, swipe right, and swipe left for a few more people, I find myself stumbling upon a cutie with an interesting About Me.

I grin and swipe right.
