Description
People had wings. Casual sized wings that were usually not big enough to carry you, so you can’t exactly fly with it. It’s not exactly tangible so nobody can touch or feel it either; it’s just sort of there, attached to your back like an apparition. It showed how you feel, often times, emotions like sadness or joy could be felt through how the wings look or react to certain things. You could only see your own and your soulmate’s though, so it’s not like your vision is clouded by feathers wherever you look. The myths say it was there for that purpose exactly. To find your soulmate. Once you saw those wings, you were supposed to know.
And this is the story of how Hong Jisoo— ordinary producer with an ordinary life (because in the first place, if the wings could be used for flying instead of some stupid soulmate thing, he would definitely be flying)— finds out his soulmate just happens to be South Korea’s extravagantly rich, spoiled, and beloved pop idol: Wen Junhui.

I've mentioned this in a discussion and also in some of my other stories, so here it is!
My next chaptered story project featuring Junshua! ♡ I am absolutely Junshua trash, so this was a long time coming.
This idea was finally born after I read a soulmate-wings fic entitled The Winged Soul—it's Steve Rogers x Tony Stark / Captain America x Iron Man. It also gave me the ideas revolving how the wings worked in terms of colour, emotions, etc. So credits to the author for her story! It's a nice read if ya'll want to try.
I have been writing this out a bit differently than my usual works. Rather than switching through POV's like I usually do for my chaptered works, this one will focus solely on Jisoo's perspective, unless I want something from Junhui to be added in. Maybe as bonus chapters? I don't know yet.
Also, even my usual one-liner description was exchanged for something more detailed.
I hope it gives a good idea of how the story will be!

Story Information:
The story is a mix of soulmate!au and wings!au, along with an added theme of being producer x idol (it's lowkey, though, I think.)
I have read a lot of such stories, so for some reason my mind just decided to merge them into this one, giant fic.
How they look follows their Don't Wanna Cry Era. I'm forever in love with Junhui's black hair, okay. Jisoo's is the reddish-brown look. Other Seventeen members who make an appearance will also be based on DWC. Real names used, as always, except for certain producer aliases and idol stage names. You'll see more in the story!
The title took me so long to decide on. It took me literal days to decide on a title. The final title is taken from the lyrics of Seventeen's Crazy In Love (yup, Mingyu's rap)!
I'll be using the song lyrics a lot in the story, too, since it matched really well with my general plot.
Current chapter count is unknown. I have a few side pairings in mind, but for now I'll be keeping it a secret. Spot them as the story goes on!
