PROLOGUE

Coins chinking are the sound of our day-to-day serenades. Paper bills flocking are the melodious harmony cleansing our ambiances. Unlimited amenities and luxuries we have in our pockets, how should we govern it? We, the rich people, live in this society where almost nothing is impossible, where full control and authority is in our hands. We, the people belonging to the rich society, how can we find freedom that money cannot afford? Rich society is a place where we, the rich people, are as well insensible of what true love is, what genuine happiness means.

Rich society is where we live, where people doesn’t know and hold of the poor, where people are ignorant of the struggles of the deprived. Rich society is where fancy people are oblivious of the sufferings of the needy, their blood and sweats they pour from the habitual fights. Yet, we the rich people in the bright side extend our hands to the indigent screaming for our help, begging to be saved by our infinite prosperity we have in our home.

Rich society, we may have known love, we may have this most powerful emotion but how can we achieve its legitimacy without the use of our fortunes and affluences? Yes, we may be ignorant of the poor people’s living and destitutions, yet how do they take grasp of this most powerful emotion, why is it in their hands without the use wealth and a single penny? Why do they have it in their hearts while we cannot grasp it without the use of our fortunes? We want to know… I want to feel…

Rich society, yes I do belong here, we do live in this social order, but I do feel and experience the same emotional struggles as of the poor, the sentiments of an individual. We get weak and so do they; we die and so do they; we feel pain and heartbreaks and so do they; we go through agony and we change because of the past, and so do they. We may have the world in our hands, we may have all these treasures we’ve wanted but are we really living?

Welcome to the world of Rich Society… where we, two heirs of our families are bound to take the journey to a path we never wanted, yet what we really needed. We, the heirs, who have no way out of this society, can we seek for true love? We, the heirs, who have opposite views and standpoints in this rich society, can our ideals merge and form an eternal love?

Welcome to the Rich Society where war between money and love takes place.

Rich Society, well, this is a whole new thing for me. I wanna challenge myself with this kind of plot.

For the first chapter, I don't know when I'll be posting it. I cannot guarantee that it's gonna be next week or any time soon. But surely, I'm gonna write this. Don't worry.

Updates might not be as frequent like my previous fic which was once a week. You know, I got personal life and work to do so yeah... updates might be slower than before. Sorry for that.
