Her smile brightens up the darkest days, while his darkness swallows up any light that comes his way. Her hands, the colour of a rainbow stained by paint, while his are tainted by the blood from his veins. She found him in the rain, loved him under a blanket of cherry blossoms, and taught him to smile in the light of the sun. But who knew all this time she was drowning in the rain, trying to love with a weak heart, and smiling for the last time.

" Chanyeol, you know why cherry blossoms are the most beautiful kind of flowers?” Alina asked as she bent down to pick up a petal from the pavement.

“ Why?”

“ Because they exist only in the spring, and in the little time they are present they make sure to show off every bit of their beauty by covering the the branches from top to bottom.Then, when their time is over they let their petals fall to the ground decorating the whole surface, so no one can forget them even in the summer. Cool isn’t it?”

She walked over and placed a delicate petal onto my  palm, there were water droplets shining from its pink surface… but it hadn’t rained earlier.
