"Why do you always come out and watch the moon?" He asked, draping his overcoat over the girl's shoulders. She smiled at him before responding.

"It's the same reason I like lotus flowers. Even though it's dark and murky around them, the two are still beautiful when you look at them," she said. Sungwoo watched as the girl looked back up at the moon, his hand clutching the cresent moon pin behind his back tightly. Should he give it to her? Or should he just keep it? He had no idea. Maybe he shouldn't have even come out here to see her the day before the wedding. Sungwoo ultimately decided to just give it to her. It could've been the last chance he had to see her.

"Sihyung, I—" Sihyung stood up from her seat on the stairs before he could continue. She removed Sungwoo's overcoat from her shoulders and handed it back to him with a smile. He took it with both his hands without thinking, exposing the pin.

Sungwoo groaned. It was supposed to be a surprise. He stuck out his hand and gave a sheepish smile to Sihyung.

"Congratulations," he murmured. Sihyung smiled back at him and took the pin into her hands.

"Thank you, Sungwoo. Good night." She gave him a short hug before breaking away and running back to her room.

"God, why did it have to be you?" He asked no one in particular.

Year 2017, Seoul

Sungwoo saw around the circular table with three other actors and actresses, waiting for the final actress to arrive. People were starting to get impatient even though it wasn't the scheduled time yet. Who could blame them? Sungwoo had to go to a music show right after with the members of Wanna One, and the supporting actors and actresses were busy with photoshoots and interviews. The only person who wasn't there yet for the scriptreading was the female lead, a girl named Kang Siyoo.

Sungwoo had only heard about her through his fellow group mates. She was a rising rookie actress who was commended for her role in a recently finished high school drama. He was going to watch the drama with the rest of the Wanna One members because Yoojin was the lead male actor, but he couldn't because of how little time he had with promoting their new song and being casted for Our Time.

A knock on the door broke Sungwoo out of his thoughts. Everyone around him sat up straight in their chairs and diverted their attention to the door, waiting for Kang Siyoo to come in. And she did.

The five foot seven girl was dressed in a loose fitting white blouse tucked into a pair of ripped black jeans. Sungwoo watched as she took her sunglasses off and bowed.

"Hello! My name is Kang Siyoo. I'll give this drama a hundred a ten percent, so please take care of me!"

When he saw the girl's face clearly, Sungwoo's jaw dropped.

It was her.

The girl from his dreams.
