Luhan and my relationship have been pretty unstable, we haven’t been able to make time for each other even though it was one month ago and we were having summer break now. I decided to work and my work was a pretty flexible one so I didn’t have to worry much. My phone was ringing on my off day and I frowned, thinking it was Luhan, I blinded answered as I knitted my brows. “Hello?” I said into the phone and I could hear him smiling at the other end “Hey!! Are you free?” I realized that the voice didn’t belong to my babe and removed the phone to see the name and realized it was Sehun, namely jerk in my phone. I looked at the clock on my wall, it was a little past 8 and nodded before realizing that he can’t see “Yeah, why?” He laughed “Thanks for nodding. Look outside your window.” I was about to be freaked out by how he knew and spun around to realize that he was downstairs and he waved as I raised a brow

“What’s up?” I say to him and he said “the sky.” He grinned and I rolled my eyes knowing full well that he could see it even though we were on phone. “I have somewhere to bring you. Can you come out now?” I rolled my eyes and lifted 5 fingers as he nodded and spun around as I took out an oversized black tee with a small graphic design at the corner with blue shorts and wore my white vans, carrying my wallet, keys and phone in one hand as I walked out and noticed my phone was about to die. “I am going to go out for a little while. Leave the latch open.” I informed my mom and she nodded as I walked out and met Sehun as he grinned. “Didn’t bring a bag?” I shrug my shoulders “I don’t need one.” He laughed and pointed at the bicycle as I raise a brow as he laughed and rubbed his nape “I am only 14 years old girl, I can’t get my drivers’ license like Luhan ok.” At the mention of Luhan’s name, I felt my gut twist in the most horrible way ever but it wasn’t shown on my face, just my poker face. “Where are we going anyways?” he laughed as he noticed how I have trouble reaching up the seat as he helped lower the bicycle so that I can sit properly as he smiled

“Secret.” He winked and “hold on tight” and he went off, I wouldn’t say it was really necessary for me to hold on to his waist since he was riding a bicycle but I need to say, if the wind wasn’t hitting me so hard in the face, I probably wouldn’t give a hoot and spread my hands like a free bird. We turned into a beach and I tried to pry my eyes open and caught a glimpse of something colorful and when we completely stopped in front of a shore, I saw the carnival in a distance, near the end of a shore and my mouth was left hanging at the beautiful sight, sounds of machine, carnival song, people squealing, laughing and talking. I was overwhelmed, I wanted to come to a carnival ever since FOREVER and not much people knew about it though, including Sehun and Luhan. “Why did you bring me to a carnival?” I asked, out of the blue as Sehun shrug. “I figured you might like a date out with me.” He winked, his voice sounded playful as I rolled my eyes “What happened to you and Lijin?” He suddenly stopped and shrug his shoulders “we broke up.” I looked at him with shock and he laughed “PRICELESS!”

I smacked him so hard and we started our little adventure. We rode rides first, especially the ride where you get chained to the metal and you’ll start spinning. That was the best ride followed by swinging chairs and we decided to ride the bumper car before moving on to the Viking. “We don’t have much rides left.” Sehun said after an hour of doing 4 rides including the waiting time. “Now all we are left with is Farris wheel, water ball activity and duck ride.” I laughed and nodded saying “We can actually walk around, buy food, drinks and go shop around. We can even play some of those booth games, it seems really fun!” I sarcastically raised my hands in a fist and waved it around making a small ‘yay’ gesture, causing Sehun to laugh. “I sense the amount of fakeness in that.” I rolled my eyes “Oh, you found out.” We decided to stop by a pizza place and wanted to order a pizza set with 2 drinks but the girl had regrettably told us that they were only left with 1 milkshake and the next milkshake available will be about an hour later cause they needed to clean the machine and there was a bit of tech issue so we just decided to order 1 milkshake and share since we can always get other drinks if we are thirsty.

We were eating pizza and catching up about what we would do during the holidays. I said I would be working and Sehun told me he was about to work for his friend, babysitting the house and kid and that he would earn a legit income from them but the thing is, he had never mentioned Lijin in his plan. Not that I cared about her but as a boyfriend, I thought he would spend the holidays with her, not like Luhan and I to be honest. We were far from a stable relationship and I absent-mindedly went forward to drink my drink only to realize that I share a milkshake with Sehun and was face-to-face with him like a couple scene in a k drama and I felt my heart beating rapidly and myself blushing but I calmed myself down just as quickly, it wasn’t that I liked him, it was because I have never been that close to a guy and to share a drink felt so intimate and I wouldn’t have done that, even with Luhan so it caught me off guard and made me flustered. We spent about 20 minutes, chilling and eating and not mentioning Luhan or Lijin and for once, I felt like a heavy burden was lifted off my shoulder, I just don’t like the fact where friends meet and talk about their own partners, we talked about our day and our work and some funny incident we bumped into a few days ago. We walked to the booth of a toss the ball game, all we had to do was toss the ball and hit down a few cans “I am a master at this game.” Sehun said and I nodded as Sehun paid the game master money “I will win you the prize in the first round!” He threw the ball and it was off target so I looked at him with a disbelieving smile, he bluffed.

“Come on, I was just.. erm.. getting used to the ball. It is a warm up.” And 2 more missed balls later, he spent his money on that game without winning anything but Sehun wasn’t going to let that go. “I must win you a prize.” I just lean against the stall and checked my nails while he continuously threw missing balls and he finally hit the first can lightly yet he made a victory fist after his 6th throw. I felt bad that he was wasting his money to try and get me a prize so I decided to give
