A lot of things happened lately so yeah,
I wasn't in the right mind to make up a good chapter.

The last time you looked up at the clock, it was still 2:30pm. Now, after you've finished saving the files you've typed down for Kris' future meetings and proposals to be settled, you felt a bit surprised. It was already close to 6:50pm. Kris was still in his office. 'Must've slept. I better check up on him.' You thought as you turned your computer off and went in Kris' office, just to see how your guess was right. 'Aigoo. Why won't anybody else see THIS SIDE of their Almighty CEO? If only they'd see him like I do, I bet, they'd at least lessen the pressure they'd put against him.' You felt how a sigh escaped your lips as you stared at Kris' sleeping face. Judging from how the bags under his eyes seemed to have darkened just a bit more recently, you felt a small clench around your heart.

'He's trying so hard just in the company alone. And here comes the Almighty Good-For-Naught ME, bringing him trouble and problems to mess his world up.' You had wanted to live your life as it is for the past two years up until how good it's going for you and Kris, for Chunji as well. Too bad, things just won't go your way. 'But if I were to be think selfishly this time, I'd still feel happy even if I'm about to face one of the biggest problems ever...because I know I'm lucky. I'm lucky because I have HIM. And of course, my one and only brother, Lee Chanhee.' You thought with a smile as you gently fixed Kris' hair and traced the creases on his forehead.

'I can't blame Hyuna-unnie for hating me. If she thinks I have everything she had wanted for herself, then that's where she's wrong...because even with who and what I am now...I can't help but feel greedy again.'

Secretly tracing the chain that laid hidden under your top, you took deep breaths.

Taking it out, the seemingly familiar and long-forgotten ring was brought out to the open.

You felt how your eyes started to heat up and your vision get blurry.

You bit back your cries, hoping and praying that Kris won't hear any of these.

As much as you wanted to keep all of these constrained feelings all to yourself, forgotten and left out, even the most recent events of your life just won't let you. Before you could even break down into more audible sobs, you made a quiet and quick run for the washroom. Just as you've exited Kris' office, the male, who, moments ago slept deeply as if not even the sound of chaos itself could wake him up, was now wide awake.
