How to Actually Write Better

This specifically caters to the writers who are using the English language as a medium to convey their story. While I am aware that not all of us here have perfect English grammar, considering that it is not our native language, it wouldn't hurt to master the language we are using in order to express our thoughts better, right?

While I, myself, am not an English speaker, I think I'm pretty good when it comes to English grammar, after all, it is my second language and I have embraced it like it is my home tongue. Aside from that, I also learned it in school since I was in kindergarten.

2A. It’s a lovely day today, don’t you think?
(It’s is a contraction of it is.)
2B. I just bought a new cellphone. Its function confuses me.
(Its is a pronoun showing ownership.)
