It’s midnight when Yewon and Eunbi sit side by side in veranda. The cushion is soft beneath them and the wood is sturdy behind them. The summer just reach its peak as it is nearly August. But at least it’s a little bit less hot than when the sun is up in the sky, burning everyone who dares to go outside without two layers of sunblock. Although technically the sun is still up in the sky and hides behind the moon, but let’s just skip that as Yewon isn’t ready, never ready, for science talk. At least she knows that the moon itself isn’t a star and that’s what matter the most so let’s just stop.

Eunbi is beside her, scrolling the SNS lazily. The bags under her eyes make her look unguarded and softer, and definitely not looking like she wants to snap every five seconds. Although the frown still appears every time she reads something, as Eunbi always says, ty. She wears her favorite hoodie tonight, don’t ask why she wears it on summer night when it is very humid outside, because even Yewon can’t answer that. Fall to the abyss, where there is only darkness surrounding us. Or the abyss itself is hell? While heaven is up there, along with those twinkling stars. If yes, does that mean those shooting stars are the sinners who got rejected by heaven? Then it would be absurd if we make a wish over the souls who got kicked out from heaven.”
