Eun's diary

I did it! I did it! Me! Wangeun! I did it! I helped Soondeok and she can now ride!!!!! I felt so happy after what happened yesterday. The sunset was a good ending, we watched it together. Come to think of it, we've watched both the sunrise and sunset together already – the feeling this time is different. Ever since I told Soondeok I'll take care of her like a brother, I started being myself around her – no more pretense, no more lie, just me, my old self. I can be myself when I'm with her, I like that.

We'll be moving back tomorrow, I'm going to miss my nephews real bad. They're all excited about the baby that will arrive soon, all wanting it to be a baby brother – but their parents want it to be a girl. I haven't thought about it, how many children I want, how many boys and girls I want. After playing with my nephews, I'd say boys are not so bad. But really, who are we to decide? It's not like we can decide whether to have a boy or a girl just like that. No, they're given by heaven – gifts. I'll accept whatever gift the heaven will bless me with.

This morning when I woke up, I discovered Soondeok had her hand on my chest – I was so shocked, I jumped up. Thankfully, that didn't wake her up. Her pajama top was loose and I couldn't help but took a peek inside. Too bad, I didn't see anything. I've got to say, she's got a hot body though, I discovered as we were riding yesterday. Oh gosh! What's wrong with me? I need to kick these thoughts out! Yikes! I can't do that to my sister! My innocent Soondeok...I must hold it in. I need to hold in. Eun ah, wake up you! Half of me wants to protect my wife as a brother, yet half of me wants to sleep with her as a man. Oh my gosh! Someone help me!

Soondeok's diary

I can ride now!!! Thanks to the prince, I've overcome my trauma and I can gallop like before! Oh, if only it didn't rain today! I'd ride till nightfall! Oh well, I guess I'll start packing things up for the move tomorrow. Yes, we're moving back tomorrow – finally! I'll miss my family though, especially my nephews. Bogum left yesterday without even saying goodbye, I sure will miss him. It'll be another year till we see him again. How mean of him...to leave without saying bye to me. Not even a letter or a note! Did he get mad at me for making him tell me about his first love? I sure hope not! I was just trying to help...will he be alright?

Eun couldn't bring himself to look at me in the eyes this morning, I wonder what happened. Was it because of the kiss yesterday? Does he get triggered easily? Like the time when he kissed my neck, it took him ages to get over it. Should I kiss him more often for him to get used to it? He said something odd yesterday, telling me to kiss him whenever I want. 

Funny, right? He would push me away when I go near him before, now he hugs me all the time. He would yell at me when I try to say something to him before, now he says all these good things to me that made me have goosebumps. I mean, seriously! Who wouldn't get goosebumps after hearing a guy calling you "little dove", "pumpkin", "honey", "darling"? And his aegyo! Wa, really scary. I wonder how his mother survived all of them. I can't stand it, I really can't. Yet he told me not to look at him as a kid! How can I not? Ask anyone on the street and they'll say Eun is still a kid himself! But still, he's my man – my handsome, cute, aegyo-king husband. Oh dear, did I blush again?

(Before dinner)

'Ahhh!!! It's all done! Finished packing, boy, that was tiring.'

'Tiring? Oppa, you didn't do much at all. I did all the work.'

'You did not! I helped lots! Ay, never mind, I don't have energy to argue with you. When's dinner ready?'

'Ah, did I tell you? My friends are coming over for dinner tonight.'

'What? Those boys? Who said? Who allowed them?'

'Oraboni invited them. Oppa, it'll be fun! They're around your age, you guys should get along fine!'

'I don't like them. I've never liked them. Especially after what happened that night. Ha! They carried you! How can I not dislike them?'

'They're guests today. Please try to get along with them, please?'

'Fine...if that's what you want. But I'm telling you, I am not happy. Not! Happy!'

'You eat outside tonight then, go ahead – it's not like I'll make you stay anyway.'

'So you can be alone with them? Ha! Never! I won't fall for your tricks again, Deok ah.'

'I didn't mean that, Oppa.'

(Voice from outside telling them dinner's ready)

OSH: 'Guys! I've bought this medicine wine – they say it works wonders. Whatever illness you have, just drink it then – DAK! It'll all be gone. Hyung, want some?'

Mindeok: 'Really? Does it really work?'

KJM: 'I don't think so, aren't they just bluffing? To make people like you buy it?'

OSH: 'I don't care, I'm gonna drink it anyway. If you guys don't want to, I'll just enjoy it all myself.'

KJI: 'Sehun ah, that's not what we meant. Let's drink it! Come on, everyone, drink it! Soondeok ah, you should have some too.'

Soondeok: 'Thank you.'

OSH: 'Hmm? Where did your husband go?'

Soondeok: 'Ah, toilet probably.'

Mindeok: 'Ja, all cups filled? Cheers! There's to, our health!'

(Boys drink in one go. Just as Soondeok's about to drink, Eun rushes forward, snatches her cup and drinks it)

Soondeok: 'Your highness! That's mine!'

Eun: 'Ah! Nice! This is some nice wine you've got there.'

Soondeok: 'If you want some, you pour yourself a cup, why snatch mine?'

OSH: 'Here, a cup for the prince, a cup for Soondeok. Ja, both of you drink! I'm sure we'll receive some good news soon, eh?'

(Boys laugh)

Soondeok: 'Good news? What good news?'

KMS: 'Don't mind about them, just drink it up, go on, Soondeok ah, drink it.'

(Eun gulps his cup down then drinks Soondeok's too)

Soondeok: 'Ya! Your highness!'

Eun: 'This wine is just awesome! I love it! Deok ah, this doesn't suit your taste, no, no it doesn't. I'll buy some other wine for you next time, sounds nice?'

Soondeok: 'Whether the wine is good or not, you'll have to at least let me try! Why are you drinking all my wine?'

KJI: 'Ooo, at this rate, Soondeok ah, you'll have 5 sons soon!'

KJM: 'And 10 daughters! Indeed! Sehun ah, pour more for the prince, go on.'

OSH: 'Aigoo, your highness, here, drink up.'

Mindeok: 'Guys, my brother-in-law doesn't drink too well. Don't push it.'

Eun: 'Nonsense! I do drink well!'

(Eun picks up the entire pot of wine and gulps it down)

Boys: 'Go! Go! Go! Go! One shot! One shot! One shot! Daebak!!!!!!!!!'

Eun: 'AAAAHHHH!!! NICE!!!! What did I tell you?'

(Boys clap and cheer)

KMS: 'Waah!!! Daebak! Did he finish it all by himself?'

KJI: 'Mindeok hyung, I guess you'll meet your nephews soon.'

Mindeok: 'Hope so!'

Soondeok: 'Guys! What are you doing? The prince can't drink all this! Your highness, you alright? Look at me!'

Eun: 'Soondeok ah~~ Our pretty Soondeok ah~~'

Mindeok: 'Sis, I think you better take him back to your room.'

(Boys smirk, holding back their laughter)

Soondeok: 'Yes, Oraboni. Aigoo, your highness, you can walk, can't you?'

Eun: 'Wine! More wine!!!'

(Soondeok takes Eun back)

KMS: 'Ya, guys, you think it'll work? Don't you think we were too much?'

Mindeok: 'The prince won't be able to hold in tonight. Thanks guys, for helping out.'

KJI: 'If he can hold it in, he's not a man at all. No man can handle this amount of wine without wanting to...hahahahaha...'

KJM: 'Aigoo, will our Soondeok be alright? The prince did drink a lot.'

OSH: 'There goes my wine...man, it was expensive!'

KJM: 'Ya, Sehun, it was never meant for us anyway. We bought it for them. Who would've thought Eun will drink them all by himself? And we worried he would refuse to drink it.'

Mindeok: 'We all had a cup at least. Ya, but Sehun ah, you sure this wine will work?'

OSH: 'Of course! The storekeeper said, once a man drank it and guess what happened? He had 9 sons afterwards! He and his wife couldn't have kids for years, but after he drank it, boom!'

Mindeok: 'Hahahah! Good job, good job!'

KMS: 'I want to go home, my wife will be waiting for me.'

KJI: 'Oooo, hyung, looks like the effect is starting to kick in.'

Mindeok: 'Aigoo, guys, then you better go home now. Before it gets too late. Besides, you wouldn't want to miss this chance, right?'

---------------Inside bedroom---------------

(Soondeok throws Eun onto the bed)

'Aigoo...look at him, he actually drank the entire pot of wine? Daebak...'

'Deok ah!!! Deok ah~~~ I'm hot!!!'

'That's because you drank so much! Look at you, aigoo, your smell! Alcohol smell all over you.'

(Eun takes off his top and throws it away)

'Ya! Your highness, what are you doing?'

'I'm hot, alright?'

'You'll catch a cold, put it back on.'

'Uh, my 's hot too.'

'No, don't do it. Don't! Oppa! At least do it under the blanket!'

(Eun throws his pants away, Soondeok covers her eyes)

'Deok ah!!! Come over here!!'

'You think I'm crazy? Why would I? I'm sleeping outside tonight.'

(Soondeok gets up to leave, Eun pulls her down and both fall – Soondeok on top)

'Ouch...your highness, are you alright?'

'Deok ah...you lost weight.'

'What?'

'Last time you fell on me, I couldn't breathe. This time, you're lighter.'

'I do? Is this a compliment?'

(Eun pulls out Soondeok's hairpin, her hair falls. Eun brushes Soondeok's hair with his fingers)

'Deok ah, you look lovely tonight, you know that?'

(Soondeok smiles as she fists Eun's chest)

'Why did you do that?'

'Do what?'

'Drink all the wine. Why did you do that?'

'I don't want you to drink it. You look too y when you're drunk. That won't do, Soondeok ah. I won't let your friends see it the second time. You can only show that side of yourself to me, understand?'

'I get it. Now, your highness, you should put your clothes back on, you really will catch a cold tonight if you don't.'

'No, I'll sleep like this.'

'I won't sleep next to you then.'

'Ya! At least I still got my underwear on! Or...Deok ah~ You want me to take that off too?'

'YAAA! You crazy? Don't! I beg of you! Don't!'

'If you don't want me to, then blow the candle out and sleep already. I'm sleepy.'

'I'll just change into my pajamas, wait here.'

(Afterwards, Soondeok sleeps next to Eun)

'Your highness, you alright? You don't look so well. Man! You're sweating! I'll wipe it off for you.'

'Deok ah...I...I want to sleep with you.'

'You ARE sleeping with me, Oppa.'

'Uh! Darn it! Deok ah, that's not what I meant!!!'

'Then what?'

'Aish! I...I REALLY want to SLEEP with you!!!!!! Oh gosh!!! Just grow up already, Soondeok ah!!'

'I don't understand...'

'Deok ah...if I do something wrong tonight...know that I'm doing it because I'm your husband.'

'C...come again? What are you going to do??'

(Eun hugs Soondeok tight, placing his ear on her chest)

'Deok ah, what if I say I want to make baby with you, tonight?'

'What, now? Tonight?'

'Yes, now. What do you think? Will you like it?'

'You want to know what I think?'

'Yes, I'm dying to know. Deok ah, tell me.'

'Frankly...no. No, I wouldn't like that.'

'W...why not? You love kids! You said so yourself before, you'd like to have kids now if only you know how to make them!'

'Yes but, that was before...I'm not well enough...you know too, taking care of kids need energy. I may be able to ride now, but I'm still not fully recovered yet. I feel weak at night and my chest pain comes sometime. Maybe later, when I'm back to my usual self.'

'Deok ah~~'

'So yeah, if you ask me, no, I don't want kids now. Why?'

'Uhhhh...I get it. I understand. I respect you. Gosh! This is driving me nuts! Soondeok ah, then promise me one thing.'

'What is it?'

'You'll let me fall asleep like this, in your embrace.'

'You mean what you're doing now? Sure, no problem. You do that all the time anyway.'

(Eun buries his head in Soondeok's chest)

'Uhh...Deok ah...you have no idea how hard tonight will be for me to endure. I hope you'll appreciate it. Goodnight.'

'I don't know what you have to endure, but I hope you'll pull it through. Goodnight, my prince. I love you.'
