“Wait”
Kyungsoo turned around and was startled by the unexpected closeness of the other. Out of instinct he took a step back and hit the shelf behind. He shifted uneasily as Kai stared intently with no intension of talking.
“Ermm K-kai ssi?”
The taller still made no move instead his piercing gaze bore holes in Kyungsoo’s face.
“ Go out with me”
“*THUD* !!”
Kyungsoo opened and closed his mouth still being unable to process. (The commercial went unnoticed)
“Sorry what?”
“I’m hungry”
“Oh” Kyungsoo wiped his sweaty forehead.
“Hey Baek! Do you see what I see?”
“We are practically in the same closet spying in the library so yes, I SEE what YOU see” Baekhyun rolled his eyes and shoved the other to get a better view.
"Is he taking shorty on a date?” Sehun asked in pure amusement. They shared knowing looks and wiggled eyebrows.……………………….......................................................................................................
Kyungsoo stared dumb struck at the huge bucket of KFC chicken on the table then at Kai who’s busy with a chicken leg.
“Sorry, I was hungry” Kai stated after a while. Kyungsoo couldn’t help but laugh at the new found side of the ice prince. Other thought for a while and silently offered him a share but he refused politely.
“Um... I already had my lunch. Thanks”
Kai went back to staring mode. For a second Kyungsoo thought he made him mad but remembered Kai always has been like that. (A/n-: Not quite) There was a pregnant silence.
“Thank you “
“Huh?” Kyungsoo looked like a confused baby owl. “Oh!” He scratched his cheek. “It’s nothing”.
Then suddenly,
“Just kiss already!”
Startled ,they looked around for the source of sound but met with equally confused looking customers instead. Kai cleared his throat.
“ Did they trouble you again?”
*Another awkward silence*
“…umm no?” Kyungsoo shifted. This is their first time talking and no need to say it’s super awkward. One, his saessang fans bullies him, his buddies have taken him as their slave, his best friend currently plotting his death heck even his cousin is waiting ready to prance and strangle him on the spot.
Kai hummed. “ I’m sorry”
