CHAPTER 29: Three words, eight letters

"Aaargh what should I do??" Hanna was stressed by herself thinking about her confession plan.

She had googled how a girl confess to a guy and also searched any kind of drama or movie with that scenario, but she found nothing.

“Surely the guy who should confess, not a girl.” Hanna rolled in her bed, contemplating whether she really need to do the confession or not.

“Should I just keep giving hints? But he’s not good at taking hints.. Until when should I waiting for him?” She heaved a heavy sigh. “Kim Jonghyun can’t you just understand my feeling?”

"Hanna, is there something bothering you? You really like to zoning out these days.." Namjoo asked Hanna as they sat at one corner of the school park.

"Ah, nothing.." Hanna was lying. She couldn’t tell Namjoo about her plan, because Namjoo didn’t have any idea she have a feeling for Jonghyun.

But the persistent Namjoo insisted asking, "What are you thinking actually? In a good season like this, you should just enjoy it.” Namjoo closed her eyes as she breathed the air, then she opened her eyes and smiled. “The weather, the scenery, everything is just beautiful."

Hanna could only eye her silently.

Namjoo didn’t stop, "Moreover it's near peak bloom. Ah, it must be really beautiful in Yeouido. But I can't go there.” She shook her head. “No, I won't go there"

Hanna simply asked, "Why not?"

Namjoo sighed, couldn’t believe that her friend was this clueless. "The whole island must be packed with couples who show lovey dovey, Hanna ya.. I must look pity if I go there alone.. or even with you. I should've searched for a guy before this season coming.."

Listened to what Namjoo saying, Hanna felt enthusiast. "Is every couple going there?"

"Not literally everyone. But tell me, who don't want to watch beautiful cherry blossom with the lovely one? If I have a boyfriend, I must go there with him."

Hanna straightened her back, suddenly got inspiration, "When will the peak bloom you say?"

"I heard it will started from this Friday.."

Hanna smiled broadly. She took Namjoo’s hand and said, "Thank you for the information, Namjoo ya. I love you.." With that, she got up and ran, leaving Namjoo confused.

“What’s with that girl, really?”

"Minhyun ah!!!" Hanna was running to Minhyun when she saw him on the corridor in front of his class. She wanted to tell him about the detail plan that she just got from Namjoo unexpectedly.

But when she approached him, at the same time Jonghyun came out from his class, also approaching Minhyun.

Hanna was surprised by that, but it was too late for her to turn back. So when Jonghyun greeted her, she could only reply with an awkward “Oh, an-anyeong..”

“Do you want to talk with Minhyun?” Jonghyun asked Hanna.

“Ah, no... I’m just passing by and greeting him.. Yeah.. “

Hanna really looked awkward, like she has been caught off something. Minhyun could only chuckle seeing her like that. Meanwhile Jonghyun noticed something off between Hanna and Minhyun, like they kept something secret from him. But he couldn’t do anything about it. He stayed silent.

Hanna couldn’t approach Minhyun at all the whole day. She scared Jonghyun would catch them off again. So she could only meet Minhyun after they went home.

"I know where I will confess to Jonghyun." Hanna told Minhyun directly as soon as they reached the park near their house.

Minhyun simply asked, "Where?"

"Yeouido."

Listened to Hanna’s answer, Minhyun furrowed his brows. "Yeouido? Don't say you're going to confess to him under the cherry blossom tree?? Ooh, it's cringe."

Hanna was surprised by Minhyun’s reaction. "Is it cringe??"

"Yeah.. I think."
