Ding dong.

Ring ring ring.

The alternating sounds of the doorbell and his phone resonated throughout the apartment for what seemed like the millionth time in the last few minutes.

Kris had long been aroused from his previously broken sleep. The drowsiness dissipated when he realized the space beside him was empty and cold. How many times this had already happened, he'd lost count. Hurt gradually became disappointment and now he was slowly becoming numb to it all. It was barely noon but the rest of his day was already set to be ruined.

He had his pillows pressed tightly up against his ears in the hopes of blocking out the ruckus. Perhaps if he'd just ignored it, whoever was on the receiving end would eventually get the message and give up pestering him; except he couldn't be more wrong.

He groaned aloud, threw his pillows and duvet aside before heavily dragging his feet out of his room.

"What do you want?" The blonde seethed, glowering at his unexpected visitor.

Disturbed albeit not unfamiliar with the former's rude behavior, Suho just simply sighed. "Well, good morning to you too, Kris."

Suho took a moment to analyze the man standing before him. Kris' shaggy, unkempt hair and baggy unfitting clothes could possibly be the result of just having woke up from bed. But his bloodshot eyes and the dark eye circles suggested he hadn't been sleeping well, or perhaps at all. And the accumulating facial hair was left carelessly unshaven. The blonde in front of him was definitely a contrast to the one in Suho's memory. In all the years they've been friends, this was the first time seeing Kris so battered; even in the comfort of his own home.

"I told you I'd be coming over to give you something, remember?" Suho prompted, closing the door behind him then following Kris to the kitchen. He was surprised but relieved when it seemed Jocelyn wasn't around. Although he was curious, he thought it best to not pry, especially since Kris was evidently annoyed.

The blonde scrunched his eyebrows, searching his memory to validate Suho's words. As he chugged the remainder of the orange juice from the carton, the image of the latter's text vaguely resurfaced in his mind. He then acknowledged Suho's question with a nod.

Suho pulled out a large yellow envelope from his briefcase and placed it on the counter.

Upon seeing this, Kris instinctively rolled his eyes. "What does that old fart want now?" He snarled.

"It's actually from Luhan." Kris visibly stiffened hearing that name. Suho paused, expecting Kris to either rip it up into shreds before even opening it or throw it back at him then shoving him through the front door. But he was rather taken aback that neither of the scenarios he thought up occurred. Instead, Kris seemed eager to listen, thus he continued.

"Luhan wanted to personally give you this package, but thought seeing him would only upset you so he asked me to deliver it to you." The shorter male informed him honestly, helping himself to a glass of water.

The blonde automatically frowned at the answer. He suddenly remembered seeing the two of them together last night. The relationship between them remained unknown and though it shouldn't have, he was bothered by it. But before he could control his curiosity, his mouth decided to act first. "Who is he to you?"

Kris' tone of voice was full of accusation, hinting at the possibility that their relationship went beyond that of being friends. His expression seemed to be shaming Suho for even attempting to claim what rightfully belonged to him.

Suho had his hands clenched into tight fists. Kris was clearly the culprit behind Luhan's pain and suffering, yet he had the audacity to turn the gun around at Suho, as if he was the one that did wrong.

Indeed, the feelings he developed for Luhan wasn't during the most ideal time. Before he'd decided to court Luhan, he was conflicted. Since Kris is his friend, people would see him as the third person that came between the couple. And he was almost certain Luhan couldn't reciprocate his feelings. Even from the beginning, he was at a disadvantage, but he didn't hesitate to try anyways because he wanted to give himself and Luhan a chance of finding true happiness.

He seldom acted upon impulse, but instead of giving Kris the satisfaction, he just smirked. "What does it matter to you Kris?"

The other's out of character response caused him to become astounded. Suho had never talked back to him like this before, thus he was rendered speechless.

"You should be worried about Jocelyn instead. A few days ago, she was at Starry Night Cafe with a man." Suho stood up from his seat and sauntered to the front. "Looks can be deceiving." He warned before disappearing through the doors.

Suho's answer was as clear as muddy water! This caused the uncertainty within him to grow. Staring down at the envelope only caused his heart to accelerate and his breathing to become shallow. Having not heard from Luhan in what seemed like a

Chapter 19: Well to me this is what happens when ur heart is a , when u cant just choose one heart to hold dearly. I dont know why he hated luhan (because i skiped the letter scene, which i am not sorry for) but still no one can change the fact about joycle being kris first love and still his real love. Although i sheepishly know that its gona change(which wont be quite convincing if u follow the plot without having "krishan" in mind, but ofcourse its actually a "krishan" ffic. and to my conclusion although im not through with my "analysis" yet (if i can all it that lol maybe i will continue in the next chap).so my conclusion on all the chap i have read till now is i dont blame joyce for anything nope because kris never actualy focus with his heart from the beginning although he knows he truely loves he let him self to be swayed by emotions (gawd im tierd my fingers hurt lol, sori for the long comment, i hope it brightens ur day authornim')
