It was Monday morning and So Hyun suddenly bolted upright from her bed. When she scanned her surrounding, she got confused. She wasn’t in her room back at the dormitories but instead, she was in her room at their mansion.

                “Ah, right. I got suspended so I don’t have classes for the whole week.” She realized.

So Hyun went to lie back on her bed and closed her eyes, thinking of going back to sleep. As soon as she closed her eyes, she remembered the scenes at the school cafeteria. She specifically remembered hearing Joo Hyuk said that he likes her.

                “Was that true? Did I really hear him say that he has fallen for me? Or was it all just a dream?” She thought.

She was smiling all by herself while her eyes were still closed, remembering all that she heard from Joo Hyuk but then she immediately stopped from smiling and shot her eyes open at the same time when she remembered what happened between her and Sung Jae in New Caledonia.

                “Seriously! I can’t believe that Sung Jae have feelings for me too.” So Hyun said to herself.

So Hyun was just lying back on her bed while staring at the ceiling. She kept thinking about what Sung Jae and Joo Hyuk saw in her that made them like her. She was so immersed in her thought that she jerked when her phone suddenly rang.

                “Nam Joo Hyuk?” So Hyun read the name of her caller and she immediately answered her phone.

                “So Hyun-ah, you’re already awake?” Joo Hyuk sounded surprised that So Hyun would answer his call.

                “If I’m not, would I be able to answer your call?” So Hyun replied, amused.

                “Right. Haha. It’s just that, I thought that you’d still be sleeping at this hour since we don’t have classes.” Joo Hyuk said. “By the way, good morning Gu So Hyun.” Joo Hyuk greeted, smiling all to himself.

                “Good morning to you too, Nam Joo Hyuk.” So Hyun greeted back. “I forgot about being suspended and woke up early, thinking that I’ll have to go to school. What about you? Did you also forget?” So Hyun asked.

                “No. I actually didn’t forget. It’s just that I couldn’t sleep. I haven’t slept since last night, you know.” Joo Hyuk informed and So Hyun gasped in surprised.

                “What? But why? Do you have insomnia?” So Hyun sounded worried and it made Joo Hyuk smile.

                “No.” Joo Hyuk assured. “I just couldn’t sleep thinking about YOU.” Joo Hyuk confessed.

So Hyun was dumbfounded. She couldn’t believe that Joo Hyuk had just said that. She was melting inside and she unknowingly dropped her phone on the bed. She quickly stood on the bed and started to jump excitedly. She kept on jumping until she remembered that Joo Hyuk was still calling and she automatically reached for her phone.

                “So Hyun-ah? Gu So Hyun? Are you still there?” So Hyun heard Joo Hyuk calling from the other line.

                “Yes, yes. I’m still here. Sorry about that.” So Hyun answered quickly.

                “Oh, good.” Joo Hyuk exclaimed and then there’s a long silence. “So Hyun-ah..” Joo Hyuk started again after the long silence and So Hyun was just waiting for him to continue. “If it’s okay with you.. Would you like to go out somewhere with me later?”  Joo Hyuk finished and So Hyun immediately stopped herself from screaming.

                “Sure. I’d love to.” So Hyun finally answered.

So Hyun was already outside their mansion and was about to get in the car but she somehow felt strange, like someone was watching her every move. She turned her head around, looking for someone that might be watching but there was none. She was still staring around when she was startled by the ringing coming from her phone.

                “It’s Joo Hyuk.” She exclaimed, looking at the screen. “It’s me.” So Hyun answered quickly.

“So Hyun-ah, I’m already here at the cafe, just in front of the Han River. I’ll be waiting.” Joo Hyuk informed.

“Okay. See you in a bit.” So Hyun answered and hanged up.

So Hyun immediately got in the car after answering the call. As soon as she arrived at the place of their meeting, she quickly spotted Joo Hyuk sitting outside the cafe and was drinking a cup of coffee. And as soon as she got out in the car, Joo Hyuk quickly stood up and went to her.

                “Hey.” Joo Hyuk greeted.

                “Hey.” So Hyun greeted back.

They just stood there for a long time in silence, not looking at each other. The atmosphere started to get awkward and So Hyun shifted uncomfortably and Joo Hyuk noticed.

                “So, shall we go?” Joo Hyuk finally said, making So Hyun flinch.

                “Go? Where?” So Hyun asked, looking up to Joo Hyuk.

Joo Hyuk just smiled at her charmingly and pointed towards the Park in front of the Han River. Then Joo Hyuk took So Hyun’s hand into his and dragged her towards the Park while So Hyun just kept on staring at her hand which Joo Hyuk was holding. She was all red faced the whole time Joo Hyuk was holding her hand until Joo Hyuk finally let his hand fall from So Hyun’s and she realized that they’re already at the Park.

                “Where are we?” So Hyun asked.

                “What? You don’t know this place?” Joo Hyuk was taken aback. “This is the Han River. It’s one of the famous dating spots here in Korea.” Joo Hyuk declared and both he and So Hyun were surprised by his statement. “I mean it’s not like a date.. DATE. I only meant that.. Uhmm..” Joo Hyuk stammered, making So Hyun snicker. “Wait, but THIS IS A DATE, right?” Joo Hyuk became flustered and this time, So Hyun laughed.

                “I guess you could say that.” So Hyun finally said after laughing.

So Hyun and Joo Hyuk started their date by riding a bike. At first, So Hyun had no idea how to ride one and would end up falling from her bike but Joo Hyuk was always there to catch her. Joo Hyuk taught her patiently until So Hyun finally learned how to ride. So Hyun was enjoying riding her bike all by herself while Joo Hyuk was just there watching from afar. While So Hyun was still riding, Joo Hyuk decided to buy some cold drinks for So Hyun and went to a nearby store. When he came back, he noticed a crowd gathering not so far from where he left his bike.

                “Kyah! How come you’re here, Gu So Hyun-ssi?”

                “Wah! Can I take a selfie with you, Gu So Hyun-ssi?”

                “Come on! Look this way, Gu So Hyun-ssi!”

Joo Hyuk was horrified. He saw that So Hyun was just on her bike, not moving and she just kept bowing her head to avoid the cameras pointing at her. Joo Hyuk saw one of the people gathering around So Hyun grabbed her by her left hand, making So Hyun stumble down from her bike. Joo Hyuk immediately ran towards her

                “Move! Out of my way!” Joo Hyuk made his way towards the crowd until he finally got to So Hyun. “So Hyun-ah, are you okay?” Joo Hyuk was now on his knees beside So Hyun.

                “I’m fine. But these people..” So Hyun exclaimed, still bowing her head.

                “Omo! Isn’t he the model, Nam Joo Hyuk?”

                “Kyah! So cute! Can I take a picture with you?”

Joo Hyuk and So Hyun could see all the cameras flashing towards them and it made So Hyun more uncomfortable. Joo Hyuk noticed her discomfort and without second thoughts, he quickly carried So Hyun into his arms and ran as fast as he could until they finally lost the crowd. They were still at the park but they’re somewhere with less people.

                “Here, have a sit.” Joo Hyuk brought So Hyun down on a nearby bench.

                “Ow..” So Hyun exclaimed, holding her right knee.

                “What is it? Are you hurt? Let me see.” Joo Hyuk demanded, grabbing her hand away from her knee.

                “I’m fine. I scratched my knee when I fell earlier.” So Hyun assured.

                “We’ll have to clean this. I’ll be right back.” And Joo Hyuk headed his way to a nearby store.

As soon as Joo Hyuk went back, he has some medical supplies for her wound and a drink for her. Joo Hyuk started to clean her wound while she was drinking a bottled juice.

                “I’m sorry.” Joo Hyuk started the conversation.

                “For what?” So Hyun asked, confused.

                “If I didn’t bring you here, you wouldn’t experience something like this.” Joo Hyuk answered sadly.

                “Stop that.” So Hyun demanded. “Don’t blame yourself for this. I was the one who decided to come here with you. It isn’t your fault if those paparazzi suddenly showed up.” She continued. “And besides, I really enjoyed today. Especially that you’re with me.” So Hyun assured and Joo Hyuk started to brighten up.

After cleaning her wound, they decided to just stay where they were to avoid the paparazzi. They talked and laughed with themselves. After a moment, So Hyun decided to go to the C.R while Joo Hyuk just waited on the bench. As she was on her way to the C.R, she felt something that someone’s following her but when she turned, there was no one.

                “Might just be my imagination.” She thought.

So Hyun entered one of the cubicles in the C.R and as soon as she finished and went out, she was very surprised seeing Sae Ron standing just in front of her. So Hyun immediately stepped back away from her.

                “Park Sae Ron? What.. What are you doing here? Are you following me?” So Hyun was terrified.

And then suddenly, Sae Ron grabbed both of So Hyun’s hands into hers and So Hyun started to panic and
