In Dreams, Where I See You
He waits for the hours he couldn’t count no more, and then the door opens revealing the doctor and few nurses strolling a stroller with a few equipment on top of it outside the hospital’s corridor. His eyes are searching for the doctor’s terrifyingly but when he sees nothing akin to disappointment in the orbs of the man a few older than him, he feels some weight on his shoulder has been lifted up.
“You don’t have to worry anymore, kid.” The doctor utters. “He’s awake.”
Those words are enough to make him cry in happiness. Without him knowing he has the doctor’s hand in his, grasping it in gratefulness. He thanked him many times and he eventually cries harder than he thought he could.
“But I have to warn you not to disturb him too much. Hanbin-shii is still under the medication influence. Some unpleasant things around him might trigger his pain. You have to be extra careful when he’s awake.” Said the doctor again before he sends a big smile to him and takes his leave.
It is such a great news; he can’t wait to tell everyone about it. He oughts to call his mother first but then a thought of telling s first becomes the first priority. Searching for Yunhyeong’s number, he calls him. The older picks up.
“Hyung!” He can’t hide his overwhelming happiness. He has to tell everyone quick. “Hyung, it’s Hanbin hyung! He’s awake! Come quick!”
He ends the call when Yunhyeong said okay and mentioned that he’s coming along with Jinhwan and June. Putting his phone down, his mind swirls in thousands thoughts. It suddenly feels awkward to go inside when he has been coming into the room for every single day in the past few months without fail. He prepares his body and heart to see the finally awoken Hanbin after 8 months the leader fells into a coma. As he is about to open the door, his phone vibrates indicating a message. Opening them it’s from Yuhyeong. Reading it adding much of his happiness.
From: Yunhyeong Hyung
