looking for
 roleplay ship partner(s)
 —— lit. au. romance.

DISCLAIMER This is going to be a really, really long post. It took me a good, whole week to write and sort this whole mess out so that explains how awfully long-winded it is. In casual conversation, I'm usually an actual spazz and my fingers get lazy to type sometimes which results in a thousand typos in a three-word reply so - hi, it's nice to meet you, this is me. I'm sorry this is so long: what the actual . I'm a huge ramble-r and this is what happens when I try to be coherent so. Most of my nonsense is a byproduct of not enough sleep and - yeah that's pretty much it, honestly, there are no other excuses. I'm usually really lethargic although I'm always itching to write things so don't be surprised if 25% of my replies consist of something along the lines of "sflr i fell asleep". I do try my best to keep up with replies and is usually online for long hours though so no worries about me flaking or anything; you'll most likely end up insisting I log off because it's probably quite unnerving how little sleep I willingly get. I'm extra, as you're about to find out. And there's no excuse for that honestly. So...oops?

INTRO Hiya, it's Cha here. I'm a roleplayer/writer who is looking to write and develop relationships with some muses with anyone who might be interested! First and foremost, I'm looking for someone who can do para or novella threads even if that will not constitute the majority of our writings. I need someone who is flexible and can easily adapt to writing longer threads if need be. This, of course, does not mean that we won't be writing with shorter replies from time to time just for the sake of developing the relationship between muses or just for the heck of it really. Another thing to note is that my muses are all original characters. I am open to having plots with general-verse muses i.e. civilian x idol; but I, myself, find my lack of knowledge about most artists unfit for proper portrayal of a general muse. Therefore, I will not be roleplaying the idols as themselves, but rather, as completely different persons using their faceclaims. I am open to different underlying genres apart from romance set in different AUs ranging from slice-of-life to fantasy and am always open to broadening my horizons and seeking new experiences. I am not, by any means, tied down by the muses I have as of creating this thread and am extremely open to receiving inspiration to whoever might wish to bestow it upon me so that I create a new characters! So if you have a plot or a ship in mind that you want to suggest to me, go for it!

PASSION While I'm open to writing with whoever might be interested, I do expect a level of dedication from your part as well, as I do not wish for this to be majorly a one-sided affair. I really enjoy plotting, coming up with random situations, exchanging theories(or headcanons) of our muses and if that seems too over-the-top for you, perhaps we aren't meant to be writing partners and that's okay! But if it doesn't seem to excessive to you, and you're ready to put in the same amount of consistent enthusiasm, please continue reading and hey, who knows? Sparks may fly. (Dramatic? Perhaps. But I told you I was extra.) Also, coming hand-in-hand is the fact that I'm always, always, always in support of having multiple threads at once. They can be of varying lengths, of varying genres, heck they might even be months apart from each other on the timeline but sometimes it's just hard for me to resist writing out a thread when the idea pops up so I hope you'll be open to that! Dropping threads will also be a possibility since some endings are just better left to our imaginations.

CHEMISTRY Like most ships, they can really only prosper if there's some sort of chemistry between the muses as well as between writers. In some cases, for example in closed roleplays or as a product of random starters, this could be an instantaneous thing but that requires a bit of luck most of the time. I also look forward to find that in our writing before we delve deep into establishing or putting into place any type of plot. Please be as transparent as possible with me from the get-go, first talks are always awkward but I also do not wish for our co-writing relationship to be strained for long. Don't be afraid to be yourself! I look forward for this to be a long-running thing where we can develop our muses and help them gradually mature and perhaps even help each other develop so you'll be talking to me a lot of the time, honestly. This is honestly a large criteria because I want to be able to talk to you as the plot deepens so that we can discuss other situations and stuff instead of blindly droning on and, in the worst case scenario, reaching a plateau in the plotline. Expect a lot, a lot of OOC chat in regards to this because that is something I find to be really lacking in most roleplaying situations but I hope it wouldn't be the case here. So let's get along well, yeah?

LITERACY I would first like to clarify that I, myself, am not the best writer out there. Far from it, really, and I'm always always always pushing myself to improve and expand my vocabulary as well as find my own writing style. Me aside, I expect at least coherency, legibility as well as a desire for writing in your replies. That means I'd simply like to be able to understand what you're writing and that I would like there to be good content in your replies. Long paragraphs do not equate to good content and shorter replies are fully capable of being elaborate even without an extensive vocabulary. That is not to say that lengthy replies are not of good quality but at the end of the day, it is what you make of the words you use that really matters. I would like there to be a sense of purposefulness to your replies: meaning to say, there is sufficient writing in response to my muse's actions or words, your own input of your muse's actions or words as well as at least a small insight to what they're thinking or feeling in the moment. This exchange will help us, as writers, better understand the flow of the thread and somehow anticipate the possible outcomes. But, as always, god-modding is looked down upon so I am not advocating the act of letting the muse's inner monologue largely influence your next reply. This is simply to add more depth to the writing and for us to follow the muse's emotions better so that we are able to feel more involved, invested and empathetic towards the storyline.

IDENTITY Despite my rambling and what is largely beginning to sound like an intimidating mountain of expectations towards future writing partners, I do greatly appreciate someone who is stubborn and can stick true to their muse's personality. This doesn't mean that you'll have to set up rules of some kind or anything but I do hope that you have a well-thought-out muse of your own who you are familiar with so that it is easier for us to go back and forth in exchanging possible scenarios that would, ultimately, reflect the muses' personalities. If I propose something out of character for your muse, do call me out on it in conversation, etc. etc. You don't have to be awfully elaborate of your muse but I would like a bit of confidence and creativity in your muse, at least. Relationships are about compromise and mutual understanding after all. And to add to the list is respect - which I will gladly give to you, as a fellow roleplayer/writer. Also, I'm not about to give you a list of traits I'm looking for in your muse or anything because it just feels weird to be talking about that as if you are your muse?? I'm quite open to a wide range of types of muses' personalities as long as it's plausible that they'll get along with whichever muse I have..? I don't know, fam. It's just in' weird if I start listing as if I'm looking for a boyfriend of my own so- gah. Weird weird weird. So just keep in mind that my muses won't reflect my personalities and vice versa. Cool? Cooool. Cool cool.

ABOUT Talks of my expectations aside, I should probably tell you a little more about myself. In addition to what I've mentioned above and what you can infer from everything I've said, of course. I really enjoy writing and first delved into the realm of literate roleplaying back in April 2016 so it really hasn't been long at all! Regardless, I really, really enjoy it so far and it's honestly a lot of fun to be able to have a writing experience with different people and see how different muses interact with each other. Roleplaying for me is honestly the best mix of reading and writing so I would love to continue developing my skills as a roleplayer, not just a writer. My timezone is GMT+8 although my sleeping pattern is erratic enough for me to be awake at ungodly hours but if we slip into a habit of consistently interacting at certain hours, I can and will naturally adapt to that. One thing to note is that I am of age and I'm willing to do if or when it does happen. Plots that are purely isn't exactly my priority as of now, but if you can convince me, I might give it a shot. I will not participate in writing involving faceclaims who are minors nor will I write with you if you, the writer, are a minor. Oh and kinks? Hell yeahI only use female faceclaims and only write heteroual ships, so I'm really only looking to write across male faceclaims as it is what I am most comfortable with. My range of faceclaims is always expanding but they will rarely change if I already have a constructed character for them. The eight faces above and below each have settings and universes of their own(hover over for faceclaim name and which AU they're set in) that I have inspiration for but there is a high possibility that there will be more to come. Regarding my platform of choice, I am heavily leaning towards Discord. If you are unfamiliar with the platform, I will gladly teach you the ropes and help you through the process of signing up. It is quite user-friendly on its mobile application, website version as well as desktop software and has a stunning layout that I quite love. I'm sorry to say that I'm quite inflexible regarding the platform of choice. Line and Kakaotalk are out of the question as I do not wish to use my real accounts and Kik just doesn't seem very practical to write longer threads since it's so restricted to mobile. Discord is super easy to use, I promise you, and I will be more than willing to help you out with familiarising yourself with the application if you're willing to give it a shot. The only other choices would probably be Facebook although that is less than desirable. I write in 3rd POV and in para - no matter the length as long as there is equivalent effort from both sides. Matching lengths isn't necessary.

VALE Deepest apologies for the lengthy post and even more so if I have seemed to leave out any kind of information that would have been deemed as important. My greatest thanks if you have read through the whole thing and I bid you farewell if you are leaving promptly after this whole fiasco. Otherwise, if you are interested to write with me, simply drop me a message and let me know which muse you'd like to know more about! If you'd like to approach me but are unsure of what to say, just leave a small greeting and tell me a little about yourself as a roleplayer and what you're expecting by approaching me to write with you so that I'll know what you're looking for! I really look forward to hearing from you!

tl;dr Get your back up there and read it all, fam. It covers pretty much everything you gotta know.

UPDATE I also have a tumblr account up if you're accustomed to writing on that platform. Just hit me up!

i'm not exactly sure if this is still open judging by how long it's been since the last update but i'm gonna comment anyway in the hopes you'll still see this.

first of all, hi! it's nice to meet you! i'm not all too comfortable giving out my name and age in aff, but if you hmu in my pms (if i haven't bored you to death) i'll be more than willing to share my name and age with you. i've been looking for a roleplay partner for a while now and when i read this my heart melted just a little. you sound adorable and the huge wordwall definitely piqued my interest seeing as i'm also the type to ramble on and on, be it ic or ooc. i'm probably going to ramble in this a lot too, so please don't mind me-

my timezone's gmt+0 (yikes, we're pretty far apart in the world <_>) but like you i very rarely get enough sleep so i'm pretty sure our timezone's won't conflict too much? maybe? hopefully not? i've never actually tried roleplaying on discord, but i do have a bit of familiarity with it because i use it as a general messaging service. i'm not overly familiar with it though, so i might need a little help in regards to roleplaying on it. also, i don't mind whether we end up becoming friends (i'd highly prefer if we did, though,) or if what we talk about ooc is strictly in regards to roleplaying. my muses are mostly either from bts, exo or monsta x, but the majority of the time i'll play as taehyung (bts) or sehun (exo.) i can sometimes do jimin (bts) as well, but mostly the aforementioned two. i'm pretty flexible, though - i can fc whoever suits because i normally tend to change up the personalities of the muses and make them completely different from how they are irl. i'm absolutely addicted to angst. angst, drama, conflict, you name it - if it involves tears and lots and lots of depressing monologue, i'm all in. i hope that didn't sound too strange, did it? i'm not all too good with fluff since i'm a pretty awkward bean irl, but i can try? fantasy's also something i'm willing to try out - i'm not amazing nor all too experienced with it but it's not something i'll flat-out decline.

...speaking of genres i /will/ flat-out decline... i can't do smvt. ever. i'm actually pretty young - i'm not of age just yet - and i find writing smvt literately on the internet is just a tad cheesy and not something i'm into at all. i can imply it with characters (which is probably my best compromise T_T) but i don't think you'll ever be able to convince me to write literate paragraphs in regards to smvt. i'm really sorry and i hope this doesn't put you off!

anyway, since i don't exactly have a roleplaying discord just yet, i'll just give you my personal one since i don't really care who sees it. it's seoullessk#5386 - please add me on there if you're interested (and survived my incessant rambling) so we can talk further!

hola señorita! you sound like a great partner to plot with, so i am definitely interested in roleplaying with you.

my timezone is currently gmt +2, but i'm mostly gmt +8 (yay travelling, right?). i'm more used to roleplaying on tumblr, and honestly, i miss roleplaying on tumblr so i would gladly do so there. my muses change a lot, but i do have concrete personas i have used in the past. i'm actually quite excited for this hahah.

my discord is chrysanthemum#7537 but i'm relatively new to that platform. but as of now, if you want to talk on there whilst i set up my tumblr, that'd be great!

Hiii, first can I say I think you're so cute with your rambling ;u; ive struggled for awhile to find really good rping and plotting partners and you seem like a good fit so I'd love to write with you. I too like to push myself to be a better writer.

Things about me, my timezone is gmt-6 But I'm awake late a night and if I'm not asleep or working, I'm always on my phone because I have no life LOL I always try to reply as fast as possible and like to give plenty of effort in my replies. I am of age so rated scenes are okay with me but I'm definitely not looking for based plots and having us constantly because it doesn't interest me all that much. I'm pretty much open to any type of plots but I absolutely love drama and angst. I'm not the best with fluff plots, it actually annoys me. But I can throw fluff in at times.

I'm not familiar with discord but I'm willing to try it out. Hope I hear from you soon c:

beep beep, stopping by. i've been itching to do more serious and literate roleplaying so I happened to see this and I think it's a sign. anyways- i've never tried to use discord before but after signing up and seeing the layout, it's pretty organized! but i think i might need some help with the basics still. so a little about myself as a roleplayer/writer. i'm pretty flexible to what genres to do, but i love drama, angst, and romance. i'm such a er for angst, i must admit but i do adore fluff to balance the angst. i've been roleplaying for quite awhile across different platforms but as for literate roleplaying, i'm still rather new to it as well! so if you decide you want to take me on, this will be a learning experience for us both!
