For Kwon Hyunbin, love is a hidden message held close in his heart; a sign he showed only with secret glances and fond smiles. For Hwang Minhyun, love is a weight on his heart, and the best he could do was to ignore the signs, to close his eyes the way he hoped to close his heart. Their concept of love was as foreign as two strangers in passing, umbrellas up in the mist of the falling downpour, meant only in passing. 

For them...there was never an 'us'.

Author's Note: Terribly inspired by Downpour's performance...I've been thinking about writing something for them since the grouping came out, but I only got around it now. Also inspired greatly by this two pieces of fanart by Doby_s2 and Mangmangpro, do give them lots of support and RTs. Please also check out Minhyun and Hyunbin's multicams if you haven't. The style of writing is something I've been experimenting with little success, so I hope you guys could enjoy it nonetheless. Feel free to leave me any comments! rain is falling, pattering on the roof,
drumming in their hearts.

tears are falling, trickling down the cheeks
thumping a hole in their hearts.

Chapter 1: You write soo well! It really is difficult to find stories that are well written with the produce boys and you wrote so beautifully. I was imagining this happening throughout in my head, it was almost as if I could see it happening in front of me.

Chapter 1: oh god i can feel the emotions seeping thru my bones. your writing style is great. this is amazing! there is a rarity of minhyunbin fics but you delivered this so well. angst and minhyunbin is fatal.

Chapter 1: Okay, this was so fantastic. I'm actually tearing up, so pathetic haha. (I had Downpour playing in the background while reading your fic and I couldn't help the tears).
