intro

Tracing back a few years ago, when kingdoms still stand and technology was unheard of, people rather live in peace. There was not a lot of problem, just people trying to live their lives to the fullest, but the hierarchy is becoming such a pain for everyone. Fast forward a couple of years, war ensues in the land of Korea. The Baekje, Silla, and Goguryeo tried to show dominance and put pressure on one and every citizen in the kingdoms.

 

In every war, there’s a hero, and it's no different than this one. One person had enough courage to annex himself out from the kingdom and managed to find an untouched land, one that is prosperous, near to the source of water, and not all that cold during winter. One that no Kings and Queens could reach.

 

This place, they decided is where the peace will go, where there should not be anyone who will lead the inhabitants. A tranquil place filled with people that have good hearts, that really wanted to just live by in peace, live by helping each other and not see their pasts. Peasants or royalties, whatever their social status may be, everyone is seen as equal in shangri-la.

By that, he try to be friendly and cheerful to throw away his cruel and merciless personality.

Background: minhyuk was a slave by born. Both of his parent were voluntary became slave to save their life from famine. At the age of 15 he was given to his master's friend as a gift. A few years later he witness how his master's friends stab his master's back by making a lot of fake rumor upon him. And the result was a death penalty for his master. Later, one of his master's friend wanted to take him as his slave, but minhyuk was disgusted by how dirty they were. Beside, Minhyuk was sure that they knew Minhyuk saw all their dirty plan. He won't live that long if he stayed so he decided to ran away without even thinking about how he survived later. He was lucky enough to found Shang-rila

Background : Being the only child of the king and queen was quite suffocating for Yoona. She grew up with too much protection, too bounded by rules. To tell you the truth, she had never once enjoyed living as an heiress of the royal clan. For her, being a princess only means being a little bird in a cage. She was not allowed to do whatever she pleased, she could not even visit the village without having at least three guards by her side, she was never able to speak up her mind. The only thing she loved about the palace is the fact that their garden was gigantic, filled with many beautiful flowers. The king forced her to marry a prince from another kingdom to expand their dominion, yet she disagreed. After celebrating her 25th birthday, the princess ran away. Then, she found Shang-rila and determined to be whatever she wanted to be from then onwards.
Personality : Yoona is a soft-hearted person yet full of desire. She's optimistic and she loves taking control of everything around her.

OCCUPATION (DESCRIBE): A former royal but entering Shangri-la as a farmer.
BACKGROUND (BRIEF): Jeongguk was born a royal so it wasn't a suprise that his father had put pressure on him saying that he needs to be perfect, that he needs to be the best in everything he does just because he's a "royal." That didn't fit Jeongguk in anyway, why was he supposed to degrade someone just because they weren't a royal like him. He wanted to make friends and not those sons and daughters of the royal household who never thought that their words could scar a person forever, instead he wanted to mingle with those kids who would run along the farm, laughing and screaming at each other, their expressions holding pure happiness, something that he hasn't experienced in his life. So when he heard about Shangri-la, he packed a few clothes and necessary amenities of his before taking off to the kingdom, where he hoped he would get a friend who talks to him just because they want to and not because he's some royal.
PERSONALITY: He might appear to be distant at first but it's only because of his shy nature but otherwise, he's a very loud and bubbly person who loves to mingle with anyone and everyone.

Background : Wonshik was a dedicated and much loved general in his kingdom, blessed with both skills and looks. The people love him so much that it's threatening the position of the potential kings, or more like it's hurting their prides. We was chased away for false nasty rumours and took just enough to start a new life. It's better to get away from the land of injustice, afterall. His search for decent place to live in is long, yet he managed to find his way into Shangri-la, where he decided to stay in. Starting anew, he opted to start a ranch and build a humble house.
Personality : might appear as a cold person but is actually very kind.
