It’s Christmas Eve and Chorong is standing near the big Christmas tree in the City Square like how it is before every night of the Christmas Eve

“Where is he? What took him so long?” Chorong thought

Bomi stealthily comes behind her. Then he raises a bouquet in front of Chorong

“Happy wedding anniversary, Chorongie~” Bomi said happily

Chorong turns around and looks at him with happy eyes

“It’s so beautiful, Bom-ah. Happy wedding anniversary, Bomi-yah” Chorong said and pecks on his lips

“I’m the luckiest girl in the world to have you by my side. I love you so much” She continues and hugs Bomi tightly

“Me too. I’m so grateful to have you by my side every second. I love you more and more everyday”

They break the hug and look at each other lovingly. Bomi bends and kisses Chorong’s lips gently. After a while they break the kiss and smile at each other. Then they turn and look at the big Christmas tree, the witness of their love.

“Merry Christmas to my Chorong” Bomi said

“Merry Christmas to my Bomi” Chorong said

Chorong leans on Bomi’s chest and hugs him tightly while Bomi rounds his arm around her shoulder and pulls her closer to him.

“I love you, Bom-ah” Chorong whispers

“I love you, too, Chorong” Bomi said in whisper tone

5 Years Later

In a big mansion

Chorong’s POV

My name is Park Chorong, I’m 35 years old, and I’m a jewelry designer.  Because I was in coma for 7 years because of my sickness, I just became a jewelry designer recently. I started working in my husband’s company last month. My husband is Yoon Bomi and his 35 years old. He is the president of Yoon Enterprises. He created this company himself right after we got married.

Bomi is a very hard working person. After five years, he successfully developed a big group with branches all around Korea, and abroad. I know every day he always does his best in his work because he said that he wants to give me a happy life without any worry. He even developed a jewelry branch when I told him I want to be a jewelry designer. He said that he wants to work together with me. It makes me very happy when knowing how much he loves me and thinks about me.

I met my husband 15 years ago under the Christmas tree in the City Square. He confessed his love to me one year after we met. At that time, I was extremely happy with his confession though it was a little clumsy. We were very happy together every day until I found out about my sickness. There was a tumor in my head, and my parents decided to take me to my father's friend in England to treat for me. Because of that, I had to leave the person I love so much. I thought we would never meet each other again. But then, destiny didn't hate us. Fate really ties us together. After 7 years in coma, I finally awoke. I quickly came back here to the Christmas tree where I promised him. As if a miracle, I found him there still waiting for me even though our promise was only 5 years. I'm so lucky and happy to have his love

We’re already married for 5 years, and every day to me is happiness because I can be with Bomi, my one and only love.

I'm now sitting on the sofa reading my book while waiting for Bomi to come home. He already called and told me to eat first and sleep because he will come home late today because of work, but I want to wait for him. While reading, I hear someone calls me

“Chorong-sshi, it is very late now. You should eat dinner and go to sleep. I think Bomi-oppa will be home late today again”

I turn and see Yookyung walking towards me. She is the cook in our house, and her husband is a taxi driver. She is the only one who will stay in the house to take care of me as Bomi’s order. The others will come in the morning and leave after their work is done

“It's ok. I want to wait for Bomi” I smile and said

I look and saw her holding a bag in her hand. I know she will go back to her house for Christmas. Every year we will allow her 3 weeks off for her to go back home to celebrate Christmas and New Year with her family.

“You are about to go back to your hometown, right?” I ask her

“Yes, Chorong-unnie” she said

“I see. Did Doojoon-oppa give you your holiday gift?” I ask

Doojoon-oppa is the house keeper and the head butler in the house.

“Yes, he gave me this morning. Thank you very much Chorong-unnie” Yookyung bows at me and said

“You're welcome, Yookyung-ah. Is your husband going to pick you up?” I ask her

“Yes, he is already outside, Unnie” Yookyung said

“I see. Then you should go now. Don't let him wait” I said

“Yes, I will leave now. Good bye Chorong-unnie” Yookyung said

“Bye Yookyung-ah, Merry Christmas” I smile and said to her

“Merry Christmas too Unnie and please say my regards for Bomi-oppa” She bows at me and said

“Sure and Thank you” I smile and said

Then she leaves the house. Once again, everything around me turns silent. I lie down on the sofa and continue to read my book while waiting for Bomi
