Then he notices she is holding a staff on her hand

“A staff” Bomi thought

When Bomi is about to call her, Chorong calls him

“Excuse me, Uhm….are you here for a long time?” She asks him

“Yes, from the evening until now” He fakes his voice

“Did you see this person?” Chorong asks him while taking out a picture in her pocket.

It’s his picture. Realizing something, Bomi slowly raises his hand in front of her face and waves. Tear starts to roll down on his cheeks

“What happened to you, Chorong-ah” He thought

“Mr.” Because he stays silent, Chorong calls him again

“Ah...Uhm….no, I didn't see him” Bomi said

“I see, I'm glad” She said and smiles

Yet, her voice clearly shows her disappointment.

“I'm sorry for my curiosity, but why are you glad? When the person you are looking for is not here” Bomi asks her

“If he is not here, that means he already forgot about me and find for him a good person who can take care of him” She said

“Why? Through your voice I can guess that you love him a lot. Why are you happy if forgets about you” Bomi asks again

“Because it will be better for him” Chorong said

“Why do you think that it will be better for him if he forgets you?” He asks

“Firstly, I made a promise to him that we will meet here after five years. But, I broke it” Chorong said

“Secondly, look at me right now. I can’t even take care of myself, so how can I take care of him?” She continues

“I think if he loves you, he will understand you if you tell him why you can’t keep your promise. Also, if he truly loves you, he won’t care about that. He will want to take care of you” Bomi said

“But I don’t want to be his burden. I want him to be happy” Chorong said

“Pabo, I thought I’m the pabo here” Bomi thought

“Did you ever consider his feelings? Did you ask him if he sees you as a burden? Why don’t you tell him what happened to you? What if one day he knew about your condition? Do you think that he will be happy? No, he will never be happy. He will bury himself in regret. Regret because of his useless, regret because he can’t protect his lover, regret because he didn’t know the hardship that his lover had been through” Bomi said with a lot of emotion in his voice, still faking his voice

“Mr.” Chorong calls in surprise

“I’m sorry. It’s just your problem is just like mine and my girlfriend. She left me without any reason. I want to know what happened to her. Why did she leave me? Did I do something wrong? I want to ask her so bad” Bomi said

Tear starts to roll down on his cheek

“I’m sorry.” Chorong said

“It’s okay.” Bomi said

“I have one last question to ask you. It’s okay if you don’t want to answer me” Bomi said

“Go ahead” Chorong said

“What happened to you? Why are you in this condition?” Bomi asks

“Uhm…I guess I can tell you.” Chorong said

~Flashback~

While Chorong is studying in her room, her head suddenly hurt. Her sight is slowly blurring. Then she collapses on her deck.

In central Hospital

Chorong slowly opens her eyes. She looks around at the unfamiliar view

“Where am I? Hospital?” Chorong thought

“Rong, you are awake” Her parents call her happily

“Omma, Appa, why am I here?” Chorong asks

“When I come to your room, I see you unconscious there. We quickly take you here” Her father said

Then the doctor steps in

“Mr. and Mrs. Park, can I talk to you?” The doctor said

“Wait here, Rong. We will be right back” Her mother said and kisses her forehead

“Wait” Chorong said

“What is it, Rong?” Her father asks

“I want to know what’s wrong with me.” Chorong said

“Everything will be fine honey. Let us talk to the doctor first” Her mother said

“No, I want to hear my condition. Why does sometimes my head hurt, and it happens often than before. Why did my sight turn blurry and sometimes I can't see” Chorong said

“Please Omma, Appa, I want to know what’s wrong with me” She turns to her parents and said

“Rong” Her mother hugs her tightly

“Okay, doctor. What is her condition, now?” Her father ask

“The tumor in her head develops very quickly. There is no choice now. She has to take an operation as soon as possible.” The doctor said

Chorong stuns with what the doctor said

“How many percent of succession?” Her father asks him

“With our technology here and her condition now, the chance is 15%. But, if she doesn't do that, her time is only one more year” The doctor said

“Rong-ah” Her mother hugs Chorong  and cries

“I'm going to die. Bomi, Bom-ah” She thought while tears roll on her cheeks

After discussing about Chorong’s condition, the Dr. leaves the room. Chorong just sits silently while tear keep rolling down on her cheeks

“Rong-ah” Her mother calls her worriedly

“Omma, Appa, a-am I going to die?” Chorong asks in shaky tone
