Love Me, Kill Me
Description
South Korea is at war with its people, partly because of the Floating City that once was Seoul, and mostly because only the minority are allowed to live there while the majority are thrown away and are forced to live within scarcity of resources and are now called the Runaways. Those who live in the Floating City are the only people allowed to go to the University, have a real job and if you happen to be born as a Runaway, your life will begin and end as a Runaway, there is no hope for them.
The only thing that is being taught to Runaways is that love is dangerous, and those who did not get a taste of real education will foolishly believe that but they are in luck because Kim Taeyeon happens to be living among them, and she will raise them with knowledge, and fuel their anger.

INTRODUCTORY
Mad, that is what you should be
Because you are being robbed of your future
Stay mad, keep your anger deep in your heart
And do something about what you're mad about.
I was eight years old when I truly understood what the word fair means, and it is not for the poor, it is not for those who fought the war and saved the country. It is for the rich and well-known citizens who did nothing but cower in fear when the war is happening.
When former president Yoo Changsuk lead South Korea to war with North Korea, everyone applauded him. They thought that it is right, that they are only claiming what is theirs. But they were not thinking straight, because war is not that simple. It is never black and white but the big players in the nation fueled his ego, they made him think he can succeed. He did not. He died with the war still going on and the men, young and old are sent to defend the country. Some lost their husbands and sons to the war but we won, that is all that matters. That is what should matter. But the next in line, Yoo Chan Yook took over his place.
The nation was flaming with anger, he did nothing and the people fought for freedom, he did not deserve his place. He did not earn anything, he was just handed a silver platter of privilege. As an eight-year old, I too, was burning with anger and disgust towards them. I may not have a clear understanding of what was happening back then, but I do now and there's one thing I want to do for the people of our nation.
I, Kim Taeyeon, solemnly swears that I will give the people back the nation. There will be no Runaways or Flying City Citizens, there will only be Koreans.
