If Not Us, Who?

Description

“We should break up,” Jongin says to his reflection in the mirror. “I’m breaking up,” he repeats. Then he shakes his head. He can’t do it.

Why is breaking up with someone so difficult? It’s for the best, Taemin’s voice echoes in his mind and Jongin frowns. What if it isn’t? What if he’s just fooling himself because he’s blinded by his own disappointment?

Jongin shakes his head again and returns his gaze to his reflection.

“I think we should break up.”

Hi. 

So I really wanted to write this story because ... idk...

I just really liked the break-up aspect without necessarily turning it into anything dramatic. None of these characters are bad.

This story features references to het!Taekey (SHINee), Gtae (Soshibang) and other minor characters along with references to their children. 

Also - if you need your biases to be between 18 and 21, this is not a story for you as Jongin, who is the youngest, is 26 years old. 

Anyway, read if you need a little .. idk, unhappiness? Happiness? Realism? I don't know. Read if you fancy.

Chapter 2: I don't think it was a coincidence that I found this story right after I listened to a sermon about how in the beginning you love someone and all their quirks but if later on you're able to love them for that same reason that you loved them for. Hahaha also how we just finished learning about stories with realism.
The story got thinking about alot of things regarding relationships (I don't know why). I think you really captured the realistics of relationships and I enjoyed it very much. The story is really good. Keep up the good work.
