Intro 02; Byun Minkyu

INTRO 02: BYUN MINKYU
hwiyeol rounded the corner as she sighed. it was hard enough to keep hoseok(monsta x) out her own families eyes now she had to deal with these others always around her. She sighed as she looked at the demon of hell just returning a spell book to him. "i've learned that one." hwiyeol answered as she was handed a name.
"that is a local demon that is getting too big for his ego. just simply put a hex bag in his trunk and i'll do the rest." hoseok looked at her
"meaning, he pissed you off. i'll get to it." hwiyeol sighed as she looked at her phone. "I have to go." she said
"you'll get to it? no,honey. you'll take care of it when i say so this is how a deal king of hell works." hoseok glared at her
"hey oscar the grouch, i will do it. just be happy for that. this is a piss poor attement to push your whiny problems on me." hwiyeol turned around she caught a hex bag. "see you just don't want to do it." hwiyeol grumbled as she walked off. hoseok was the one that taught and found her gift in the dark arts and magic. of course, all witches or others that use magic have a demon, god, or angel teaching the magic they obtain. her's just happens to the king of hell - a whiny, childish but scary demon. She found herself at a college cafe filled of students. she found the car just popping the trunk and ripping up the carpet just stuffign the hix bag in and fixing the trunk then closing it.
"hwiyeol!" A voice called out as she looked around as a few students were walking up to the cafe. "i'll see you guys at the next project meeting." The boy said as hwiyeol hid her tools behind her back.
"do i know you?" she asked
"well kind of, you've run into me and my uncle before. he told me you'd be coming by but later. he said something about your dad forming a group of hunters or something. my uncle tried calling you but you didn't answer your phone." Minkyu said, blinking brightly at her.
"i am kind of working." hwiyeol said as she picked up her stuff. "We should talk away from the cafe and this car. for safety reasons." hwiyeol pulled on his sleeve.
"oh, my bad." minkyu walked behidn her "so what are you working on? i can help!" he chirpped.
"yeah not needed. So you already probably got the speech so now all we have to do is move you into the apartment." hwiyeol said as she looked at her phone. hwiyeol peered over the boy's shoulder as she nodded to herself just watching.
"what are you watching that car so -" minkyu flinched as the car blew up red as people were screaming. "you did that?!" minkyu eyes widen
"ever seen a demon go pop?" hwiyeol shook her head
"yeah but not like that! what did you do?" minkyu crossed his arms "Oh and hey that is my macroecomoics professor! I was doing well in that class!" minkyu complained
"he was a demon and two i had no choice. magic, black magic. you'll learn that I come quite in handy." hwiyeol started to leave, "come on nerd."
"do not call me that! my name is minkyu." he caught up to her side. "for the record, i think it is cool you can use magic snice i don't meet a lot of hunters that can." Minkyu nodded "maybe i can teach you a few things and you can teach me." he added as he looked at her
"sure, why not." hwiyeol said as they walked towards the apartment.
"i have already packed up a few things but my uncle said he would bring over the rest. who's that moving in?" he asked
"oh that jaesun and a girl named haneul will be moving this weekend when she is off work." hwiyeol answered as they walked up
"Finally you show up, look i picked my room already so you take this march it up." jaesun handed her a box
"i'm byun minkyu! nice to mee you." he waved as jaesun finally realized he was there.
"oh hey. she be a pain for you too?" he asked
"no, i think she's pretty cool." minkyu answered as he followed hwiyeol in. minkyu looked around as Hwiyeol set the box on the floor. "alright, here is your key for the building and which room do you want?" she asked
"any is okay for me." Minkyu answered as he was handed a room key.
"there is also a cafeteria type place that way and there is training, equpment room, and gym in the basement." she said as picked up the box again. "I'll show you your room. the whole first floor is just meeting offices and work rooms plus a few rooms with books in them. all the rooms are on the second and third floor. the four floor is just empty for now." hwiyeol said as she started up the stairs "we don't have the elevator running yet." she said as she stompped up the stairs
"okay." minkyu responded as he followed her. he watched her set at the box down next to the open door. "i am guessing this one is mine?" He asked as he walked down the hall to a door.
"yep, wirte your name on the name plate. mine is the frist one on the left if you need anything or help." She said as she walked off.
"thanks." minkyu said as he unlocked the door just closing the door behind him. he set his backpack on his bed as he heard bickering outside. he looked aroudn the room as it was just a simple room - a dresser, bed, desk, and night stand. he walked out when he got a text that his uncle was here with his stuff. he walked out and down stairs just seeing Hwiyeol coming back from the conveience store. he simply just waved as she raised up an arm. He got all of things in his room. He walked back downstairs just saying bye to his uncle as he walked back in.
"minkyu, do you want some ramen?" Jaesun asked
"okay, sure." Minkyu walked into the cafeteria room he watched as hwiyeol was making instant ramen while jaesun was taking out some side dishes.
"my mom brought those for us." Hwiyeol said "my parents run a resturtant now since they are out of the game." she added as she carrried the ramen pot to the table in the room. She grabbed the cup of chopsticks just setting them on the table as she watched the two bring over the side dishes. "by the way after this, we have a hunt so yeah." hwiyeol said
"already?" jaesun asked
"hm, yep. there has been some werid deaths in this office building. i got a tip from a friend." hwiyeol said as she looked at the two boys. her friend was actually hoseok. her reward for doing his little odd jobs was that he would give her leads on certain supernatural creatures or on demons.
"so Minkyu and I have to pose as the fbi agents." jaesun said as hwiyeol nodded
"well no duh, idiot. I am a few years short on looking like one." hwiyeol shook her head as she ate.
minkyu simply just sat in his chair as he watched the two bicker back and forth. it was like they were already becoming a family without even doing anything. it was a lot better than living on his own or in the dorms at school.
