HUNT 10: A CHASE FOR ONE PT 2
minkyu sighed as he looked at Hwiyeol as he slammed down another book infront of him. "this is endless. we aren't finding anything. are we sure that this kid is the chosen one or that we are even going to find anything?" Minkyu looked at Hwiyeol as she shrugged as she yawned. "Do you need a pick me up after being around the leech?" He rolled his eyes
"are you jealous?" Hwiyeol countered back
"no. i am not jealous of someone that steals people's life force." Minkyu picked up another book as he looked at the all the pages that Hwiyeol had flagged. "How are you so good at this?" Minkyu asked
"well once you drop out of school and you spend twenty four seven doing this then you get good. Plus I really lore books and reading. I have had someone these books snice I was little." Hwiyeol nodded "here look at this one. it is light on the latin." hwiyeol teased as she handed the book to minkyu
"my latin is just as good as yours." minkyu snapped at her as he took the book. minkyu sighed as he heard her chuckle. "IT is rusty okay. I do not use it every day like you." minkyu said as he bit down on the end of his pencil.
"I mean i can tutor you or you can use my text books that I use to keep practicing and keep freshed up on the language. i mean it is not really common around here." hwiyeol said
minkyu gave her a look as she would usually just make fun of him as she shurgged just going back to her book. "i think that leech took some brain cells with him." minkyu said
"fine, I won't be nice to you. annoying." Hwiyeol grabbed her books she had flagged and bookmarked as she stopped out just going down stairs.
minkyu rolled his eyes as he opened up the book just starting to read through teh book as he heard a humming his ears just feeling light headed as he shook his head as he felt himself get sleepy as he fell over just closing his eyes.
"minkyu, the others think making kevin learn some magic might help whatever the chosen can might form." hwiyeol walked into her room as she crossed her arms. "how can someone fall asleep this easily?" she shook her head as she walked over to MInkyu just grabbing his shoulders as she shook him. "wake up loser." she smacked his shoulder as she sighed. "donghun." she mumbled under her breath as she grabbed a few items just sprinkling some water over Minkyu as she said a few things as Minkyu didn't stir. she grabbed her phone as she scrolled through the contacts just landing on Jun. she pressed call as she closed and locked her bedroom door. "Hi, jun. can donghun sing to people from far away?" hwiyeol asked
"no, no siren can do that. a music god like myself can. what did something happen?" jun asked
"well minkyu won't wake up and he is still breathing. I only left my room for a few minutes." hwiyeol said as she reached out and kicked Minkyu in the a little
"well i will come right away and bring donghun with me to make sure it wasn't his magic." jun said
"okay." Hwiyeol said as she turned around to see donghun being shoved forward by jun. "oh you're fast." She said
"yeah, well. god speed." jun siad as he loooked at donghun. "did you do this? he looked at the other
"no, you know my singing can't put people to sleep." donghun looked at hwiyeol. "was he there with the people that killed siren? did he has direct contact with the siren beforehand like at school?" donghun asked
"i don't know. minkyu doens't talk much about his college stuff. HE doesn't want to drag any of them into it." hwiyeol shurg
"Alright well donghun and I will go back and talk to a friend. she is a succubus and has dealt with sirens and music gods." jun said
"is she an idol?" hwiyeol sighed
"well yeah. her name is dasom (actress/former member of SISTAR). well technically she is a actress now." jun said "Well will be back soon." He said
"Wait. shouldn't i stay where. I mean whoever did this could be coming to get him." donghun said "hwiyeol can't fight something like that." he added
"you have a point. if it a is a one of us then she'll be done for. alright, try not to get yourself hurt." jun diseappered
"i do not think it wise to tell the others i am here again. they do not like me." Donghun answered as he pulled out her desk chair as he sat down. he watched her sit down on her bed beside Minkyu just poking him a few times. "he's fine. leave him alone." he told her
"yeah well what happens when the others come downstairs wondering what happened to us." Hwiyeol asked as she watched donghun unlock her door.
"I'll deal with it. you just research or do whatever." donghun said as he watched her pick up a few books as she opened them up just starting to read.

hyunjae said as he tapped his foot as he looked at the others. "JInyoung go check on hwiyeol and minkyu. the rest of us can handle this." hyunjae said as he watched jinyoung nod as he started upstairs.
jinyoung walked up staris just heading to hwiyeol's room. "yeol?" He knocked as he slowly opened up hwiyeol's door as he blinked to himself as he watched donghun illusioned as minkyu releasing shoulder just pushing her back on her ed.
"stop teasing me, got it brat? or i'll do that again." donghun mimicked minkyu's voice to a fault as siren's were extremely talented in turning their own voices into someone else's.
"oh. sorry. i'll tell hyunjae you're busy." jinyoung shook his head as he wasn't exactly sure of what he just saw. jinyoung made his way downstairs just looking at hyunjae. "oh they are getting close to figuring something out from their lore books so they'll stay up there." jinyoung looked at them
"alright. well okay so you're the only witch here until jinsoo and taemin get back. they went with adrain and jaesun." hyunjae said
"hey. I am a witch too." ardyn piped up from his spot.
"sorry kid, i forget about you sometimes or just lump you together with minkyu." hyunjae shrugged.
"yeah thanks a lot." ardyn replied "i'll go get my basic spell book so that we can easy stuff that doesn't require a pact." ardyn said as he made his way upstairs. he came back with a few books as he stood next to jinyoung just looking through them for the easiest thing for Kevin to start with.

hwiyeol punched donghun as she looked in the mirror as the light purple and blue veins around flowed away as she rubbed her face. "Why did you kiss me? Now jinyoungie thinks MInkyu did it!" hwiyeol kicked at him.
"my illusions need a kiss to make them very real. do you feel okay?' Donghun asked, leaning forward to look at her
"yes, i am fine!" hwiyeol snapped as she smacked him on the shoulder with a book.
"ow! yah, i am not afraid to make you pass out. stop it!" Donghun warned as he gave her a look. "anyway it bought us more time." Donghun said
"i'm back and i brought Dasom. she thinks she knows a way to wake him up." jun returned with taller female with dark hair pulled up in a bun. "come this way so Dasom can exmaine him." Jun took hwiyeol's hand as she stumbled a little bit.
"i'm good. tripped over a book." hwiyeol gave donghun a sideways glance. She stood near jun as she watched Dasom sit down next to minkyu.
Dasom sighed as she snapped her fingers as strange redish-purple smoke came out of minkyu's mouth as she trapped it in a jar. "he should wake up in a few minutes." dasom said
"oh great, thanks. you guys should go before someone comes or he wakes up." Hwiyeol said
"you know here to find us if you need us." Donghun winked at her as he disappeared with the other two. Hwiyeol stood over Minkyu as he groaned as she smacked his chest. "Why did you fall asleep here!? you have your own bed!" Hwiyeol snapped

Hwiyeol nodded "come on, lets go see if they still need help." hwiyeol said as she pulled him up as she started to walk out of her room just waiting for hiim as he left. She started downstairs as the paired walked into the living room as ardyn was showing kevin something.

minkyu snatched her wrist as he pulled her behind him. he dragged her upstairs back up to his room just shoving her in a little as he shut the doors. "you better start talking!" HE threatened as hwiyeol
"you should actually be thanking me right now. you could be dead or in a coma. so." hwiyeol shrugged as she watched minkyu's eyes glow. "yeah okay. look uhm so you kind fell under combinatoin magic of a siren and succubus so I called jUn to help which did help - but donghun stayed to make sure nothing came to to kill you so then he made an illusion to keep the others away so they wouldn't find your like zombie body." hwiyeol said
"and his illusion was for me to kiss you? oh smart. how about telling the truth!" minkyu snapped at her as he kicked his desk.
"this was not my idea. you should be really mad at donghun 'cause you know you didn't kiss me - he did. so like yep. it already happened get over it." hwiyeol nodded

IF i went to jaesun, hyunjae, or adrian then you'd still be a zombie and it could have been to late to save you or you would be damaged when you came back! "oh that should be easy." minkyu answered as he motioned for kevin to try. he watched as kevin did as ardyn had showed him just picking up the string just spinning it as minkyu dodged a flying crystal as it smacked into the wall behind him.
"Well he certainly can direct enegry." hwiyeol said as she walked to the crystal box as she opened it up. She took out a onxy crystal as she tossed to kevin. "try with that." SHe said

"yeah it is denser and hard to chanel enegry though. black makes it harder for even flow to be sent through." hwiyeol said as she watched the other stretch out his hand as the crystal moved slightly then flew to her as she caught it.
"he is strong." minkyu said "have you always like been able to tell teh feeling in a room or instatnly know how someone feels about you from their enegry?" minkyu asked kevin
"i mean yeah but I just thought it was being observant." kevin answered as he watched the four witches nod to each other as they started to get certain jars off shelves and books.

adrian sighed as he parked his car as he had taemin track the girls by doing a rune scry as he got out his car just looking at jaesun. "we will probably have to knock out joohyun or get her hands prone." he said
"oh yeah like that will work. witches do not just have to use their hands. she has telekinesis, she just use her brain. we need to knock her out." taemin rolled his eyes as he walked. "they are this way, jisoo protection rune is making this one glow." taemin said as the group of girls just sitting around in a abandoned building.
"do you think wonho could help us?" jinsoo asked "i mean joohyun is scary when she is mad. her powers are the most advanced with hwiyeol and minkyu right behind her." jinsoo told them.

"i can burn runes into the skin with certain crystals. I put a tracker on both of them and protection runes on their wrists. i did after jisoo got kidnapped. i couldn't think of going through that again." he nodded

"this was not my idea. you should be really mad at donghun 'cause you know you didn't kiss me - he did. so like yep. it already happened get over it." hwiyeol nodded
"how can I get over it!? everyone thinks i did something that I didn't even do! plus what happens if this happens again? what if we only killed a worker bee siren of the top too that cursed me!" minkyu snapped
"well i mean it isn't as worse as hyungjae suggesting i sleep with jaekook." hwiyeol nodded
"do not switch the topic.' Minkyu glared at her "what are we going to do? this serious." minkyu said
"i could just say you were drunk and stupid. or influenced by donghun." hwiyeol said "plus dasom the succubus that pulled that smoke stuff out of you didn't seem to worried about it." hwiyeol said
"you let some demon pull smoke out of my unconcious body?" MInkyu snapped
"is it a plus that she was like really pretty?" Hwiyeol said as she dodge a stray bolt as minkyu breathed in. "hey you aren't dead. i could just said it and leave you to die! but becasue you're my friend I got help!" hwiyeol snapped at him. "My methods might not be good or whatever one else likes, but I get done! IF i went to jaesun, hyunjae, or adrian then you'd still be a zombie and it could have been to late to save you or you would be damaged when you came back! So instead of being pissed at me maybe you should say thank you! Do i give you then don't say thanks or being gald you saved my ?!" hwiyeol looked at him
minkyu just grabbed her cheeks and kissed her. "thank you but I am still pissed. and now at least I really did it and this will never happen again, got it!" minkyu nodded as he cursed as hwiyeol socked him in the nose.
"that was for being a jerk. and your welcome." hwiyeol patted his back. "you are still a nerd and at latin. it isn't even bleeding, you baby." hwieyol walked out as she walked down stairs.
"is everything okay?" ardyn looked at hwiyeol
"yes." hwiyeol nodded "what are you trying to get him to do?" hwiyeol asked as Minkyu entered the room with a bruise around his nose forming.
"do i even want to know?" hyungjae looked at minkyu
"nope." Minkyu answered, crossing his arms.
"i can heal that." jaekook piped up
"let me have some pride.' Minkyu mumbled as hwiyeol held in a laugh. "i will end you." minkyu glared at her
"you guys always like this?" kevin asked
"yes." jaekook nodded "I have learned to just let it happen and go with the flow." he looked at the boy. "jinyoung and ardyn are trying to get kevin to direct enegry into a crystal to scry with." jaekook nodded
"oh that should be easy." minkyu answered as he motioned for kevin to try. he watched as kevin did as ardyn had showed him just picking up the string just spinning it as minkyu dodged a flying crystal as it smacked into the wall behind him.
"Well he certainly can direct enegry." hwiyeol said as she walked to the crystal box as she opened it up. She took out a onxy crystal as she tossed to kevin. "try with that." SHe said
"onyx?" jinyoung asked
"yeah it is denser and hard to chanel enegry though. black makes it harder for even flow to be sent through." hwiyeol said as she watched the other stretch out his hand as the crystal moved slightly then flew to her as she caught it.
"he is strong." minkyu said "have you always like been able to tell teh feeling in a room or instatnly know how someone feels about you from their enegry?" minkyu asked kevin
"i mean yeah but I just thought it was being observant." kevin answered as he watched the four witches nod to each other as they started to get certain jars off shelves and books.

adrian sighed as he parked his car as he had taemin track the girls by doing a rune scry as he got out his car just looking at jaesun. "we will probably have to knock out joohyun or get her hands prone." he said
"oh yeah like that will work. witches do not just have to use their hands. she has telekinesis, she just use her brain. we need to knock her out." taemin rolled his eyes as he walked. "they are this way, jisoo protection rune is making this one glow." taemin said as the group of girls just sitting around in a abandoned building.
"do you think wonho could help us?" jinsoo asked "i mean joohyun is scary when she is mad. her powers are the most advanced with hwiyeol and minkyu right behind her." jinsoo told them.
"yeah, she might blow right through my rune magic." taemin said "I mean granted my stones are pretty good, but my air rune writing will be just blown away by her shadow things." he added
"how did you know samia and jisoo were here?" jaesun asked
"i can burn runes into the skin with certain crystals. I put a tracker on both of them and protection runes on their wrists. i did after jisoo got kidnapped. i couldn't think of going through that again." he nodded
"god, just marry her already." jinsoo gagged
"yah, what about you with wenji." taemin pushed him
"we are just friends." jinsoo glared at him. "you partically let jisoo control you around like a whipped husband. you wouldn't even let one of them sit on your lap for like a ten minute car ride without worrying about what jisoo would do to you." jinsoo shook his head
"you two shut up." jaesun glared back at them. "lets just go in." jaesun said as he walked around just pushing the back door open as he walked in. "what do you think you are doing?" jaesun snapped at joohyun
"have you lost your mind? you tied up jinyoung to come commit suicide?" adrian snapped at joohyun. "all of you? you drag them into this." he added
"i came to slove a probelm." joohyun snapped "If you are here to stop me then just go home. or i can make you leave." joohyun eyed them.
"joohyun, look at yourself! You are acting like them. we are your friends and we will take care of jonghyun. the others foudn the one who should not be named outloud. they are working with him. just come on. drop this - what will you prove once your dead?" jaesun snapped at her "plus Haneul and siren I can't believe you went." He added
"we had no choice. plus i would rather go with her than her go by herself. we are the onlys that finally got her to stay here to stake out the place." Haneul looked at them as she handed jinsoo a test tube of herbs as he come through the front just crawling on the ground behind joohyun. she felt jinsoo put the test tube back in her hand as she looked at the open knuckle wounds joohyun had from hitting something earlier while they were trying to get her to come to her senses. haneul slowy raised up her hand as she dropped a few drops in each wound just seeing taemin had swtich places with jinsoo as he was tracing some run on the floor between joohyun's heels.
"fine, i'll do this by myself." Joohyun tried to raise her arm as she look down to see taemin finishing traping rune as she gritted her teeth. "seriously?" She asked
"yes. you are going to give this up until we all ing decide to kill the head. you have to get over this fear with him aroudn that you'll turn evil. i am sick and tired of it. you're a strong woman and stronger than him. you have people who love you around you, so grow up." adrian looked at her
joohyun just glared at him as she looking at a pipe as it flew at adrian as he bent down just as the metal pipe clattered against the ground.
"unnie, he's right." samia said "we can't do this unless we all decide. we could have helpped a ton more people instead of just watching this place." Samia said
Ahri sighed as she stood up from her spot. "granted they do make a point. jonghyun is scary guy and we have no clue what is up his sleeve. plus if they really have a nightcrawler then are just going into our deaths." ahri said "I only came along to keep you guys somewhat armed with big powers and to keep you from doing something stupid." ahri nodded
"so can we go home?" jinsoo asked "I got a text from jinyoung that they making really good progress with our new friend." jinsoo said
joohyun sighed. she looked at the others in the room as she sighed. "fine. i just wanted to to help and end this." she sighed as she heard taemin scraping the ground as she could move out of her spot now.
"We will just not like this." siren nodded at her.
"good, lets head home. god, hyunjae's been texting me he needs a nao." adrian said as they started out of building. Everyone went to the respected care that they were riding back in and they all headed back home.
