HUNT 08: The Nightcrawlers PT 1
Haneul got up the next morning just getting ready for work as she bangged on JIsoo and ardyn's door. "get up you two! you have school!" SHe called as she was tieing the ribbons on her shirt into a bow.
"shut up! some people are trying to sleep!" adrian yelled through his room
"sorry." haneul said as she hurried down stairs. she was carrying her heels in one hand, her jacket over her, and her work materials in her others. "ardyn, jisoo! I am leaving in twenty minutes then you'll have to wake up one of the grumppy men to take you to school!" SHe yelled. haneul bent down as she doged a flying pillow that she figured was sent by joohyun as a door slammed.
"we are coming." jisoo hurried down the stairs with ardyn following her. SHe sighed as she sat down at the table just finishing her pony tail and tieing her bow to her uniform as ardyn grabbed a bowl of cereal.
"i almost got hit with a book from jaesun's room." ardyn glared at haneul as he ate.
"I am sorry that the others didn't get in until like a couple hours ago." Haneul said as she turned around to see jaekook. "Oh god, announce yourself." she said as she glared at him.
"I need to speak with hyunjae. also there are vampires stalking your homeso i would wait to leave until the sun is fully out." jaekook said as he started up the stairs. he knocked on hyunjae's door as hyunjae opened it up. "good morning." HE said
"what the hell do you want?" hyunjae asked
"I might have found something. do all you know that there are vampires outside your home?" jaekook asked
"oh ing ! you heads brought them home!" hyunjae bangged on adrian's door then to jaesun's.
"what is all the racket?!" hwieyol marched out of her room
"good morning, hwiyeol. i like your pajamas." jaekook said
"oh hi." hwiyeol said
"what?!" adrian walked out of his room.
"you brought vampires home now go kill them!" hyunjae grabbed a knife and handed it to him. "both of you." hyunjae said as he looked around. "where did the angel go?" hyunjae asked
"IN hwiyeol's room." taemin walked past "with her cute pajammas." He was carrying a butterly sword as samia was marching down the stairs with a machette.
hyunjae walked into hwiyeol's room as she was showing jaekook the translations with her hair up into messy buns with a rabbit head that girls used to keep their hair out of their face when they washed their faces. "angel, out of the teenage girls room." hyunjae grabbed his collar.
"but i am not done reading." jaekook said as he followed hyunjae.
"I can tell you the short verison." hyunjae said "YOu wait out here. I have to get changed." HE said as he grabbed the papers from hwiyeol then shut her door in her face. "here." hyunjae handed jaekook the papers. he walked into his room just getting dressed as he came back out. "what did you want to talk about?" HE asked as he looked around. "oh come on." hyunjae knocked on hwiyeol's door.
"what?" SHe opened the door
"where did he go?" He asked
"i don't know. i haven't seen him since you slammed the door in my face." hwiyeol said as she was holding some hangers of clothes. "go look downstairs. i'll be down in a little bit." She said as she closed her door.
hyunjae made his way down stairs just checking each work room to find jaekook reading a book in one of them. "i told you stay where I could find you easily." He said
"sorry. i remeber seeing something about the chosen one in one of these books of folklore about the chosen special being that will help rise the death angel, who we all know is lucifer. " jaekook said as he looked at the other
"it is okay. so if find this chosen one and kill them then we won't have to worry about lucifer rising." hyunjae said
"that is not how it works." jaekook blinked at him. "we need to find lucifer's vessel and warn him not to say yes." he said as he looked at them. "plus it is better to take out the demons that are trying to raise lucifer." HE said
"how can I help? i am free at the moment." hwiyeol walked up as she looked at them.
"you could go get some breakfast." hyunjae said as he looked at the jaekook handed him.
"yes, breakfast is the most imporant meal of the day." jaekook said "THen you can help us find lucifer's vessel." he said
"oh cool. I'll be back then." Hwiyeol said as she walked off to the kitchen just being barled into by Taemin. "ow, god. what happened?" Hwiyeol pushed him off of her as she got up.
"vampires." taemin got up as he started back outside.
"but it is almost daybreak." hwiyeol said "Well some hives do go out in the day but they like the night better." she said as she walked into the kitchen. she came out with a packet of poptarts as she walked back to where hyunjae and jaekook were. "what the heck! they just sent me to get stupid breakfast to get me out of the way." hwiyeol marched off as she looked at the others coming back inside. "all the bats dead?" SHe asked
"yep." samia said as she looked at her. "Adrian and jaesun are burning the bodies in the basement." she said as she walked back upstairs. "Why are you up?" SHe asked
"Hyunjae and jaekook ditched me." hwiyeol said as she ate her package of poptarts.
"well that isn't new. THey are like besties now." taemin walked up as he looked at the two.
"hwiyeol where are the books that we borrowed from the libaray. They are due back today!" minkyu walked up as he grabbed hwiyeol's arm
"i put them on your desk." hwiyeol said as he gave her look. "that is all of them." SHe said as she looked at him. "see all of them." hwiyeol stood at his desk with him.
"alright. well text me if you guys need me. I have a mock exam today." He said as he dumpped the books into his backpack as he left his room as she followed.
"where is hyunjae?" jaesun asked
"he went off somewhere wtih jaekook." She said as he looked at her. "i guess that you guys took care of the vamps bodies?" SHe asked
"we did. the vampires kept talking about a nightcrawler?" adrian said as she crossed her arms.
"yeah, a monster that can be created from demonic cermonies. they are exinct though." hwiyeol said as she looked at them. "the only way to get one is to make one." she said as she finished her package of poptarts
"do you think haneul's boss wants her to make one of these?" joohyun walked up with Siren. "we are meeting with her for lunch since she has some herbal stuff that we need to take to a daycare. the kids there are having nightmares and their nightmares attacked their teacher. I got a call from from a friend." joohyun said
"you guys could ask her or at least try to find out." adrian said as he looked at the pair. "THis could be a simple mission to see how this telepathic stuff works too. I know you went on the vamp hunt, but this a bit different." he looked at siren.
"she already has her own alias ready. she is a special kind of therapist." joohyun said
"it will work out somehow." siren spoke to them as she crossed her arms. "what will you guys do today?" SHe asked
"rest until something comes up." adrian said
"well something is up." chengxiao appeared in between samia and taemin. "i need some help. ardyn is in school and Minkyu is doing something called a mock exam." she added
"what do you need help on?" adrian looked at her
"well we need to steal my lightning staff from a university. you see every god has a special object associated with them and mine is a staff. it was stolen from my divine tomb most likely by demons." chengxiao looked at them
"oh great. is this why your powers haven't been working and you went out seeking for the human?" chen appeared in the room
"maybe. i thought I could get it back myself." chengxiao said
"taekwoon could get it out faster than any of us." samia said
"you called?" the demon in question appeared next to siren as he looked at Joohyun. "you've got ten minutes before home room is over." HE said
"we need you to steal a acient goddess staff." samia said
"where?" taekwoon asked
"it is in a university in uhm beijing." chengxiao siad
"i'l be back soon." taekwoon shook his head. Taekwoon appeared again about four minutes later just handing over a staff to chengxiao.
"you should go put that in ardyn's room." chen said as he snapped his fingers as a long dagger in appeared his hand. "as I should leave this with minkyu." he said
"oh is that why jisoo has that really old bow above her bed?" samia asked
"yes. every god or goddess passes down their weapon to their magical vessel." chen said as he looked at them. "I also heard earlier about someone talking about the nightcrawler?" he looked at them
"do you know something about it?" jaesun asked
"well it can be killed by lightning or a weapon of lightning. lucky you guys have two. most demons do not know this." chen said
"good to know, thanks." jaesun said as he looked at joohyun and siren. "you two go deal with what you have to and we research this thing. hiwyeol, where are you running off to?" Jaesun turned around to the door.
"i have a few tasks from wonho with slight criminal actions." she said
"well don't get caught." chen turned back to jaesun. "so the -" hE started
"what kind of criminal actions?" adrian glared at her
"uhm well murder, breaking and entering, robbery, do you want me to go on?" SHe asked
"well i guess i am going." adrian sighed
"i can do this by myself. a few hex bags, take the item, and then go on." hwieyol said as she left. "I'll be back before lunch." she added
"i can watch her." chengxiao said as she handed adrian her staff. "put this in ardyn's room." she disappeared in a black flash of light.
"well lets hope she doesn't get caught." adrian said
"wonho will fix it if she does. he has done it before." taekwoon looked at his watch. "I should get going. my next break isn't until lunch." He looked at samia as she nodded as he disappeared.
"come on, samia. lets go start researching." taemin pulled on her sleeve and grabbed Jinsoo's arm as they walked down the hall with chen.
"where is hyunjae?!" jaesun said
"with the angel." adrian sighed as he followed after the others. adrian and jaesun walked in the larger work room that would fit all of them to see taemin holding down a boy while gripping his hand with a werid looking blade then chen was simply reading a book. "what the hell?" adrian said
"i keep telling them i am angel! my name is daehwi(wanna one) and jaekook is my friend! i suppose to help!" he said
"get off of him. give me this." adrian snatched the angel blade. he grabbed daehwi's arm as he sctract the surface of the boy's skin as a bright light emgered then closed up.
"thank you." daehwi took his angel blade back. "now i am to help you with jonghyun." he said as he looked at them. "what do we got?" he asked
"uhm it is a nightcrawler and can be killed by lightning. that is it." samia said
"that's it?" daehwi asked "no leads on the chosen one? none on where the creatures is being made? what do you people even do?! where is yeolie? that is the person jaekook told me to have complete fatih in." daehwi crossed his arms
"oh great, he put complete faith in a bratty demon contracted girl." adrian said "she's not here. you have to put up with us." HE said
"Plus her name is hwiyeol." jinsoo added
"and i thought hyunjae and jaekook were working on the chosen thing." samia said
"they are, but some help would be nice. who speaks the best latin here?" he asked
"that would be samia." adrian said
"well there are others that are better than me." samia admitted "I can do it just give me some time." samia took the papers from daehwi as she grabbed a latin dictoinary, pens, and a notebook. "I'll be in my room." she walked out
"now oh, ahoj perun." daehwi said as chen waved his hand.
"just here to help if I can." chen looked at the boy.
"that is good." HE said as he turned back to the group. "alright lets get to work." He said as he grabbed a couple books as the others started researching.

jisoo sighed as she carried her water bottle back to class as she had just filled it up. SHe looked down the hall to see a recongized symbol of haneul's company as she hurried to find ardyn. he usually study in the back of the library by himself as he bother much with his classmates. she first grabbed her things from her class room then hurried to the library. "ardyn!" she hush yelled as she hurried to the back as he looked up
"people from haneul's work are here!" she said as she stood over him.
"and?" ardyn asked
"why would they be at our school? we don't have any special science programs and job fair isn't until next week after exams!" jisoo said
"the workers you saw could have kids that go here." HE said
"you have a very nice school. the medicine we are soon to be making will be good for students that will help them have the engery and mental brain help to study better." jonghyun spoke to their school's principal
"look like you've been studying." adryn asid as she sat down as he picked up his flash cards. "do this." HE said
"oh fancy meeting you two here." jonghyun looked at them as he peered down his glasses.
"we are studying for Korean diction." jisoo blurted as ardyn sighed.
"in the mythical creatures section?" jonghyun asked
"yes, do you have a problem with it?" ardyn asked "i do not think haneul-noona would like to hear her boss is bothering her siblings." ardyn glared at him.
"i wouldn't want to do that." he said as he looked at them. "I'll let you get back to your studying." jonghyun said as he walked off. "I hope you two pass all of your exams." he added as he left wtih their princpal.
"he is creepy but good looking at the same time. how do people not see demon in that man." ardyn looked at jisoo as she shrugged
"we just have to be careful, i guess." jisoo said as she looked at him. "but by the way, why are we in the mythical creature area?" SHe asked as she looked at the books
"i am looking up something that my classmates were talking about. some of them are talking about seeing different folklore creatures around the city, so i thought i would read up on them." ardyn said as he looked at her
"what do you think?" she asked
"i think that they aren't real. i think maybe an illusionist demon or some type of creatures is making them." ardyn said "that is why I am here to try and find a creature that can do that." HE said
"oh. well that would be a reason." jisoo said "did you find something?" SHe asked
"No, not really. just stories about the lore that they were talking about." he said as he looked at her. "maybe they were just messing with me." HE said as he looked at her.
"well you never know." jisoo said as she picked up her math note book. "are you good at math?" she asked
"yeah, i help you study." HE said as she sat beside him as they started studying.

hwiyeol walked into the police department just chengxiao in a cell. she walked up to the front desk as she waitied for one of the police officers to notice her. she couldn't believe that the loser men she works with decided to send a disty airhead goddess to spy on her. "excuse me?" hwiyeol walked up to a desk
"yes?" officer jeon jungkook(bts) spoke as that was the name that hwiyeol read on the name plate.
"i am her for the chengxiao." hwiyeol said "she is cousin." she said as chengxiao waved to her.
"well we need someone over eighteen to release her to." jungkook said as he leaned back in his chair "and miss chae you are not over eightteen are you?" He asked
"my older brother is coming." hwiyeol said "I can i talk to her?" she asked as jungkook nodded as hwiyeol walked over to her. "what were you thinking?" SHe whispered to chengxiao
"to help you or well watch over you." SHe said as she saw adrian walk in.
"be quiet." hwiyeol said as she walked back over to adrian as he looked mad.
"i am here to get her." adrian said as he looked at junkook.
"we aren't charging her or anything. the owner isn't pressing charges." jungkook said a he walked to the holding cell. he opened it up and let chengxiao just walk over to them. "you guys are free to go." he said as he watched them leave.
"i am very sorry." chengxiao said as she looked at them as they walked. "i'll leave." she siad as she walked down an alley way just disappearing.
"I can't believe you sent her after me." hwiyeol said as she looked at him. "and she is the one that got caught." she said as she looked at him.
"sorry. anyway, at least you are okay. we haven't gotten very far with the nightcrawler." adrian told her as they walked
"i figured so." hwiyeol said as she looked at her phone.
"well if it isn't chae hwiyeol coming out of the police department. see any ghosts or demons lately?" another girl with a police badge around her neck. "and not surprised a gangster came to bail you out. sugar daddy is what you are after these days?" she shook her head
"hello officer choi." hwiyeol said as she looked at her as they stopped. "we were just getting our friend out." hwiyeol said
"well that just means it wasn't you, but it will be. you always get into trouble. have you been causing trouble for your brother again?" sooyoung (snsd) asked
"my brother is none of your concern and he is working in japan. plus this is adrian and he is a tattoo artist not a gangster." Hwiyeol told her
"gunhee has me watching her." adrian said
"your shop better be legal." sooyoung said
"it is." adrian said as he looked at his phone. "we need to get going. i guess that it was nice to meet you." adrian said as he guided hwiyeol away from her. "who is that anyway?" he asked
"she is an officer that has busted gunhee and i just a couple of times. we were just burning a few ghosts bodies but we were on private lands of people that said we could do it so they couldn't do anything about it." hwiyeol said
"oh." adrian said as they walked to his car. "i am going to have to drop you off because I have a client coming to the palor today." adrian said as he unlocked his car. he started the car and started to the apartment just dropping hwiyeol off then starting on his way to his tattoo palor.

"well there are others that are better than me." samia admitted "I can do it just give me some time." samia took the papers from daehwi as she grabbed a latin dictoinary, pens, and a notebook. "I'll be in my room." she walked out
"now oh, ahoj perun." daehwi said as chen waved his hand.
"just here to help if I can." chen looked at the boy.
"that is good." HE said as he turned back to the group. "alright lets get to work." He said as he grabbed a couple books as the others started researching.

jisoo sighed as she carried her water bottle back to class as she had just filled it up. SHe looked down the hall to see a recongized symbol of haneul's company as she hurried to find ardyn. he usually study in the back of the library by himself as he bother much with his classmates. she first grabbed her things from her class room then hurried to the library. "ardyn!" she hush yelled as she hurried to the back as he looked up
"people from haneul's work are here!" she said as she stood over him.
"and?" ardyn asked
"why would they be at our school? we don't have any special science programs and job fair isn't until next week after exams!" jisoo said
"the workers you saw could have kids that go here." HE said
"you have a very nice school. the medicine we are soon to be making will be good for students that will help them have the engery and mental brain help to study better." jonghyun spoke to their school's principal
"look like you've been studying." adryn asid as she sat down as he picked up his flash cards. "do this." HE said
"oh fancy meeting you two here." jonghyun looked at them as he peered down his glasses.
"we are studying for Korean diction." jisoo blurted as ardyn sighed.
"in the mythical creatures section?" jonghyun asked
"yes, do you have a problem with it?" ardyn asked "i do not think haneul-noona would like to hear her boss is bothering her siblings." ardyn glared at him.
"i wouldn't want to do that." he said as he looked at them. "I'll let you get back to your studying." jonghyun said as he walked off. "I hope you two pass all of your exams." he added as he left wtih their princpal.
"he is creepy but good looking at the same time. how do people not see demon in that man." ardyn looked at jisoo as she shrugged
"we just have to be careful, i guess." jisoo said as she looked at him. "but by the way, why are we in the mythical creature area?" SHe asked as she looked at the books
"i am looking up something that my classmates were talking about. some of them are talking about seeing different folklore creatures around the city, so i thought i would read up on them." ardyn said as he looked at her
"what do you think?" she asked
"i think that they aren't real. i think maybe an illusionist demon or some type of creatures is making them." ardyn said "that is why I am here to try and find a creature that can do that." HE said
"oh. well that would be a reason." jisoo said "did you find something?" SHe asked
"No, not really. just stories about the lore that they were talking about." he said as he looked at her. "maybe they were just messing with me." HE said as he looked at her.
"well you never know." jisoo said as she picked up her math note book. "are you good at math?" she asked
"yeah, i help you study." HE said as she sat beside him as they started studying.

hwiyeol walked into the police department just chengxiao in a cell. she walked up to the front desk as she waitied for one of the police officers to notice her. she couldn't believe that the loser men she works with decided to send a disty airhead goddess to spy on her. "excuse me?" hwiyeol walked up to a desk
"yes?" officer jeon jungkook(bts) spoke as that was the name that hwiyeol read on the name plate.
"i am her for the chengxiao." hwiyeol said "she is cousin." she said as chengxiao waved to her.
"well we need someone over eighteen to release her to." jungkook said as he leaned back in his chair "and miss chae you are not over eightteen are you?" He asked
"my older brother is coming." hwiyeol said "I can i talk to her?" she asked as jungkook nodded as hwiyeol walked over to her. "what were you thinking?" SHe whispered to chengxiao
"to help you or well watch over you." SHe said as she saw adrian walk in.
"be quiet." hwiyeol said as she walked back over to adrian as he looked mad.
"i am here to get her." adrian said as he looked at junkook.
"we aren't charging her or anything. the owner isn't pressing charges." jungkook said a he walked to the holding cell. he opened it up and let chengxiao just walk over to them. "you guys are free to go." he said as he watched them leave.
"i am very sorry." chengxiao said as she looked at them as they walked. "i'll leave." she siad as she walked down an alley way just disappearing.
"I can't believe you sent her after me." hwiyeol said as she looked at him. "and she is the one that got caught." she said as she looked at him.
"sorry. anyway, at least you are okay. we haven't gotten very far with the nightcrawler." adrian told her as they walked
"i figured so." hwiyeol said as she looked at her phone.
"well if it isn't chae hwiyeol coming out of the police department. see any ghosts or demons lately?" another girl with a police badge around her neck. "and not surprised a gangster came to bail you out. sugar daddy is what you are after these days?" she shook her head
"hello officer choi." hwiyeol said as she looked at her as they stopped. "we were just getting our friend out." hwiyeol said
"well that just means it wasn't you, but it will be. you always get into trouble. have you been causing trouble for your brother again?" sooyoung (snsd) asked
"my brother is none of your concern and he is working in japan. plus this is adrian and he is a tattoo artist not a gangster." Hwiyeol told her
"gunhee has me watching her." adrian said
"your shop better be legal." sooyoung said
"it is." adrian said as he looked at his phone. "we need to get going. i guess that it was nice to meet you." adrian said as he guided hwiyeol away from her. "who is that anyway?" he asked
"she is an officer that has busted gunhee and i just a couple of times. we were just burning a few ghosts bodies but we were on private lands of people that said we could do it so they couldn't do anything about it." hwiyeol said
"oh." adrian said as they walked to his car. "i am going to have to drop you off because I have a client coming to the palor today." adrian said as he unlocked his car. he started the car and started to the apartment just dropping hwiyeol off then starting on his way to his tattoo palor.
