Foreword
This is a work of fiction, and all character portrayals are purely fictional. If perhaps there are any similarities here with other works, please note it is purely coincidental for this story is one I have conjured and constructed from inspirational sources and mainly my own imagination. Please do not plagiarise!

I worked seriously hard on this. Like unbelievably hard.
Initially, the protagonist was supposed to have been Exo's Suho. But alas! Taeyong fit the part equally as well, if not better, and I had a blast writing him. For a one shot, this is going to be mighty long. I didn't initially foresee this being any longer than maybe 10-12 pages, but boy, was I mistaken. I wrote this in between a lot of my own English assignments, so I paid a lot of attention to construction and riddling emotions into it. This is a cross between prose and poetry - or at least that's what I like to believe - and I hope it has as much impact on you reading as it did on me writing.
Inspirations drawn from: the odd progressive song or two, a few sad piano renditions, and personal sights, sounds, and otherworldly experiences, especially from the window on my left.
