We are two lonely people trying to find comfort, security, intimacy in each other.This isn’t love. It’s desperation. But, the question of whether or not I’ll let you continue to creep underneath my skin and into my heart with every subtle touch, still remains. I lay alone in the dark and imagine what it would feel like to have your arms wrapped around me, protecting me from the silence of night. I’d replace the ringing of darkness with the rhytmic current of your inhales and exhales. The vibrations of your heart beating would rattle through my back and softly guide me into sleep. 

I sit and I wonder and I hope. Repeat. 

How much of myself am I willing to give up, just for the chance to have your skin graze across mine? 

Neither of us are each other's homes. No, we are each other's convience. 

But that doesn't mean that in this disaterous game we are playing, we won't continue to pour our everthing into each other, never really understanding that we are both bottomless cups.
