Description

Sixteen years ago, the blood fever swept across the whole world. Over three quarters of those who had gotten it died. Out of the few that recovered, some were left marked, with the power of the gods inside of them.

Oh Hwayoung wants to accomplish only one thing (and it doesn’t matter if she dies doing it): kill the crown prince and avenge her dead family.

Except the whole country goes into an uproar a day before her planned assassination attempt because it turned out someone already tried to assassinate the crown prince the day before, and that somebody turns out to be Do Kyungsoo.

Do Kyungsoo, the bastard prince whose name is tainted because it’s rumoured he’s not really the king’s son. Do Kyungsoo, who turns out to be marked like Hwayoung, with the power of earth beneath his fingertips (and half the royal family after his head).

And also a very stubborn resolve to kill his brother.

It’s just what Hwayoung needs.

Foreword

I have the foreword and prologue up for now, but I’ll probably start the story somewhere in late May or early June. Maybe earlier. Depends on when I finish Darkest Hour and OAW.

Notes before you read:

>Lead is Kyungsoo who’s a runaway prince, yay.

>The whole blood fever/getting powers from it comes from the Young Elites (which is my favourite series go read it) but that’s basically it. The rest is my own plot.

>I’m hoping it’ll be around 50-60 chapters.

I've read Cutlass, and it was amazing, and now this one caught my eye. The minute I read the description, I clicked on it cuz it sounded familiar and very enticing. And when I saw the whole blood fever thing came from the Young Elites, I flipped. Marie Lu is literally my favorite author!! I didn't think anyone else on this site would've read her books! I've read all her series and now I know I have to read this. Can't wait!!
