Haeju's gone.

At least that’s what Tzuyu always thinks about her unnie. The old Haeju has gone. For her, Haeju doesn’t seem like how she used to be. Every time she looks at Haeju, her smile, her joys when she talks to the other people, Tzuyu feels like Haeju’s faking them all. She catches her unnie sitting alone several times, avoiding the crowd, looks serious by herself, even when they’re in a workplace. Tzuyu feels like Haeju has been worrying about something. Tzuyu is not the person who likes to force people to tell their problems so she has no idea what her problem is. Most of the time, Tzuyu just comes close to her unnie and not letting her being alone. Accompanying her. At least, from what Tzuyu knows, her unnie really loves when there’s somebody with her. “I wanna be that person,” Tzuyu tells herself. Haeju unnie doesn’t cry often anymore. She doesn’t whine anymore. And that’s just weird for Tzuyu.

"Hahahahaha!" Sana unnie's laugh is heard across their performance preparation tent. She looks at Sana’s wide smile and obvious happy emotions… Tzuyu hates that so much! It’s not something normal for her. Sana is so misplaced and abnormal and it bothers her. “How come can a person be so weird,’ she mumbles while staring at Sana from the corner of her eyes, then she looks at Dahyun, Mina, and Chaeyoung who are around her right now and secretly comparing them to Sana, “Yup, normal people. I love them,” she nods.
Sometimes Tzuyu wonders why these three can also be comfortable with Sana. Even Tzuyu's most favorite unnie, Dahyun, gets attached to Sana so much. She wonders why but she never dares to ask.

"Unnie..." Tzuyu pokes Dahyun who sits in front of her, "Haeju unnie is alone, should we ask her to join?"
"Where is she?" Dahyun asks and Tzuyu points where Haeju is with her finger, "Haeju Unnie!" Dahyun yells, Haeju looks at them and then comes after Dahyun waves her hand.
Haeju sits between Mina and Chaeyoung, makes Dahyun has to slide towards Tzuyu. Haeju unnie, as usual, acts shy and doesn’t talk a lot during their conversation. She only speaks when somebody asks her a question. Soooo passive!!! It annoys Tzuyu so much. “What’s wrong with her? Why doesn’t she feel comfortable with us?? Even after all this time??!!" Tzuyu thinks. It's even weirder for her as the member does nothing about this. "Am I the only one who's bothered by this?!"

Suddenly Haeju smiles at Tzuyu, probably as a greeting between two of them. Tzuyu can’t do anything except smiling back. It feels awkward. Tzuyu knows that the new room arrangement makes Haeju and Chaeyoung be in one room (also she heard a rumor that both of them used to be dating for a while?) but… “Why do I become the victim by all of that? Why is it our friendship? Who am I for you, Haeju unnie?-

-Ugh, now I feel insecure. I’m thinking like you!" 

Tzuyu tries to ignore that feeling and keeps up with the conversation. After all, Haeju is still Twice’s member and her beloved unnie. She needs to stop being dramatic about it. “I really start thinking like her, our drama queen……”

After their makeup and dressing are all done, Twice gets ready to go up to the stage. Everyone makes a circle. As usual, Jihyo unnie leads the group chant. We put our hand on the top of each other. When Tzuyu puts her hand down, Haeju unnie’s hand is on her. She looks at her unnie’s face and the latter seems like she doesn’t realize it. Maybe just a coincidence…

“Alright girls,” Jihyo says, “On the count of three. One, two, three!”
“TWICE, TWICE, GO!!!” Tzuyu feels the goosebump every time they do that. She likes observing facial expressions the members show. Most of them are excited. Sana unnie is over-excited (“Ugh!”). Haeju unnie is... Another complicated thought is shown behind her blank gaze. Her opened mouth indicates how deep she has gone in her own mind. Her almost-closed eyes show how exhausted Haeju is.

“There’s really something wrong here!” Tzuyu tells that to herself.

"They finally swap her makeup artist," Nayeon whispers to Tzuyu after their performance. The latter notices. The members, all of them, know why. Just a few weeks ago the company had a talk with Haeju about it. They tried to convince Haeju to give the makeup artist a chance. Haeju refused boldly. Only Tzuyu knew how mad her unnie was as she was the only one who Haeju invited in that secret meeting. "Do you want me to have bad mood every before a performance?!" Haeju yelled. 
"Of course that's not our intention, dear, but-" the guy from the company tried to bargain with Haeju about the problem but the latter cut him.
"-You people don't understand! I'm an artist. Don't try to ruin my mood. It's kinda my weapon," she said.
"Sigh... We understand. Let's just discuss this thing while sitting down..."
Haeju paused for a moment before returning to her seat, "Don't tell me what to do," she grumbled.

Even after they made them the makeup artist completely silent while doing Haeju's face, as a compensation, eventually they swapped her anyway. "I guess Haeju unnie told them to," Tzuyu says to Nayeon weakly as she has no control of what's happening.
"Poor her. I don't know why Haeju being so rude to the makeup artist. She has a family, I bet, and Haeju just ruined her life," Nayeon says.
Tzuyu is conflicted to answer that, "Umm yeah... But unnie has a reason too."
"You know there was never something like this happened in Twice, right?" Nayeon asks Tzuyu.
The maknae nods as she can't deny the fact. Haeju unnie is the first one who changes her makeup artist. Out. Of. Anger. 
"Jihyo has to know this. She always knows what to do," Nayeon gets up and leaves Tzuyu alone. The latter looks at Twice's new oldest member with much empathy.

"But unnie has a reason too..." 

"Tzuyu!" somebody shouts her name, she turns her head to see who's calling, it's her beloved and hatred unnie, Minatozaki Sana, "Where's Tzuyu? Tzuyuuuu?" Sana who's currently talking with Blue manager says.
"What does she have to do with me, tsk..." the maknae grumbles. She doesn't say anything until her unnie finds her by herself.
"Tzuyuuuuuu!!!" she runs to the maknae with huge excitement. Sana sits beside Tzuyu and suddenly circles her arms into Tzuyu's left arm.
"What?" Tzuyu asks shortly, annoyed but curious.
"Nothing, just missing you!" Sana says, she looks at the maknae with her bright eyes as wide as her smile, "He he!"

"I wonder if she notices about Haeju..."

"Don't you miss me too, Tzuyu?" looking at that surge of happiness from Sana makes Tzuyu's guard down. She smiles back at Sana involuntarily. The latter appreciates the sweet smile that she giggles again with her high-pitched voice, "He he he, me too!"

Tzuyu always remembers that time when Haeju's mother passed away.
It was a hard time for Haeju but deep down, Tzuyu felt guilty about it. At that time her mother gone, the members were deciding to change Haeju. To turn her into a stronger woman. A more tough lady. Since then, Haeju rarely cried anymore. And by time, Haeju got more and more savage. Some say that Haeju finally gets comfortable and shows her true color. Her dark side. Tzuyu disagrees. She thinks Haeju is just being adaptive to the situation. To the members! Haeju loves her members so much as she does. She knows that Haeju is willing to sacrifice anything to be accepted by her friends, including her own personality. But Tzuyu doesn't like it. She misses the old Haeju. She's afraid there's no hope for her to see Haeju's sweetness again, "Not like this, Unnie, not like this."

"Mhmm... Tzu-Tzu..." she hears her other unnie sounds like she's about to wake up. Tzuyu pulls up the blanket to cover hers and Sana's clothless body. Sana lays her arm around Tzuyu. She looks so happy after Tzuyu allows her to play with herself. The maknae Sana's hair gently. Even Sana very rarely to ask Tzuyu this, she kind enjoys it.
"I guess I'm getting sleepy as well," Tzuyu yawns, realizing that she has been doing it hard for a few rounds with Sana. She needs to sleep. Tzuyu changes her position a little bit to get herself feel comfortable before totally closes her eyes. She promises she wants to talk to Haeju tomorrow. She can't let her unnie in a bad condition like this anymore. But for now... "Good night, Unnie."

Sana opens one of her eyes secretly and takes a peek at her. She's more than happy, she kinda understands what's on Tzuyu's mind. Sana moves her hand and grabs the sleeping lady's hand. She smirks. 

"Don't worry, Tzuyu, tomorrow we'll get her back..!"
