His tears burst forth like an open faucet; there was rawness, it hurt so much, the pain itself was as if someone had just torn an open wound right through his heart. He clasped onto the rough stoned, cobbled wall of tomb for support as he whole began to shake with stifled silent sobs.
His, palms sweaty as he pushes against the wall, salty liquid still burning at the back of his eyes. Feet stumbling as he falls over himself the realisation only hitting him now, like a ton of bricks.
There is constant static in his head and now it’s left a sort of numbing feeling. Unconsciously he bites down on his lower lip, as he begins to taste the copper in the folds of his mouth.
The emptiness in his head, growing more intensely as he struggles to keep upright.
