Here is the first chapter of the new story!

Donghae has been waiting for 20 minutes in the waiting room to see his doctor. He can hear his doctor laughing from outside, he felt rotten.

He has been running a temperature for a week, it hurts to breathe. He feels like all his bones are broken, he regrets coming already. He knew it was a waste of time. Yet, still... he was there.

The doctor opened the door and said politely, “Please Donghae, come in.”

The doctor pointed at a chair for Donghae to sit in, and it was then that Donghae noticed that there was another doctor in the room.

He felt uncomfortable immediately.

Dr Choi said, “I have to introduce you to a colleague of mine, who has more experience working with people with problems with their immune system.” The other doctor put his hand up and introduced himself, “Lee, Dr Lee Hyukjae. Nice to meet you. I am looking forward to working with you.”

Donghae didn’t say anything, he just sat there uncomfortably. Hyukjae said, “I have looked at your entire medical history, and I must admit, you really are a challenge for me. It is not often we find a patient who does not react to any form of medication. You make us look bad Mr Lee! We are supposed to succeed in making people feel better! And I have to say, you don’t look particularly healthy today.”

Donghae stood up and said, “I didn’t want to come today, I feel rotten. If you do not mind, I would prefer to come on another day. Nice to meet you.”

And Donghae put his hand out, feeling dizzy. That was when everything started to spin faster and he felt something get stuck in his eye.

He doesn’t remember anything else from that moment on.

When Donghae woke up, he was on a comfortable bed, and he could see Dr Lee was sitting beside him. His vision in one of his eyes wasn’t good, and it hurt to blink. Dr Lee said, “Try not to open your eye, when you collapsed you hurt it by falling onto my badge. Sorry about that...” He said nervously.

Then he said seriously, “Your condition is getting worse, quickly. Your temperature is quite high, and we do not know why.”
