" one of the biggest perks of attending one of south korea's most privileged schools isn't meeting the elite, having high class facilities or being that one percent of the highest grades in the country; but is actually the most luxurious, non-expenses paid school excursions to date.

it's only exclusive to hwajoong; the people who earn the highest grades in their subjects get to go on these high end trips. one of the third years spoke of going to rome for her first excursion, another said that they went scuba diving in the bahamas. of course, you'd learn stuff whilst in the places you went but everyone aims to have the highest grades to go to these excursions. 

so where do you think we're going this year? new york? paris? maybe even laos? nope, we're going to that really expensive museum in the city. you know, maybe hwajoong's running out of money? "

suhyun finds herself scrolling through her photos out of pure boredom. she sees multiple pictures of things she had always wanted to purchase, things she had wanted to own and things she had wanted to see. she sees dozens of pictures of her school mates; some old and some some new. she's halfway through her years at hwajoon, being a pretentious second year. she'll watch as her friends in third year leave and will have to watch as her friends in first year sob as she'll graduate the following year. it's a cycle of friendship and as every person knows, you'll go through each of your friendships until they eventually end. suhyung sighs, wishing that there would be something that would bring her group's friendship closer than ever; hopefully enough that htey would be friends even after they all graduate. it's a strange wish for a rich girl, one that could have anything she wants at the click of her fingers. but friendship isn't something you can buy as suhyun had learnt before. it was the only thing she wanted, even though she strides through the hallways of hwajoong with a kitchsy smirk plastered on her face.
