I think the greatest relationship is a formidable friendship—it's acceptance, all-encompassing, and for 'till death do us part' even before the concept of marriage comes to play. Romantic love is fantastic, it's magical and takes your breath away, but a platonic bond is familiarity and belonging. I wanted to create something along those lines, where I show what I think friendship means, and I want to portray that notwithstanding who my protagonists are. It's a peculiar combination, one that I barely comprehend, but I wanted a boy and a girl to connect without the fuss, and my goal is for them to be foils.

Hopefully, it works out alright, and I can actually complete this instead of abandoning it after the fourth chapter.
