WELCOME;
welcome to ELYSIAN, a writing contest dedicated to all of the aspiring writers in asian fanfics. previously named "flower path", elysian is a writing contest based on prompts given by me, the creator of this contest, and will last for a total of 24 months (two years). the contest will officially open on april 20th 2018, and will close on april 20th 2020, at 8pm gmt. results will be posted between late june and early july of 2020 (depending on how many entries the contest gets). read the rules and faq carefully, and if you still have any question(s), feel free to ask by commenting down bellow or by sending me a private message, i will be more than glad to answer you!

RULES;
one. no kind of bashing and/or plagiarism won't be allowed nor tolerated. keep in mind that plagiarism is crime and punishable by law.
two. contestants must subscribe and stay subscribed until the release of the results so they don't miss any important updates / information / announcements. upvoting isn't mandatory but it will increase your story's score.
three. contestants may enter with a maximum of  three stories per author, but only one story may win.
four. check the characters page. you must use at least one of the characters on the character's page as lead/main. using more than one character of the characters page will increase your story's score.
five. submitted stories must have been started in 2017 and onwards, and completed by the deadline. extensions will be given if needed, with a maximum of one month ( four weeks ). however, there's limit of extensions that can be given.
six. the use of at least one of the given prompts is mandatory, no matter which (dialogue prompt, quote prompt, plot prompt, sentence prompt, etc). you can use as many prompts as you wish.
seven. contestants must include the banner of the contest somewhere visible on your story's foreword, linked back to the contest's thread. they must also write a blog post about the contest, including the contest's banner linked back to the thread. those who fail to do so will be disqualified.
eight. it's mandatory that all of the contestants add me as a friend, specially those with private or/and friends only profiles, in case i need to contact any of you.
nine. once submitted a story, please comment down bellow. ten all of the submitted stories must be tagged with " elysianwc ".

Chapter 1: This looks so cool and I look forward to seeing the ptompts! Are you going to be adding to the character list or is that it? I'm just curious. I AM interested in some of the chatacters, though:).
I wanted to point out something I saw on the list of girls. You mentioned Red Velvet, then again, instead of Twice, right under them. I just wanted to let you know so it can be fixed.

So glad to see this contest revived!!! If you need help putting together prizes, I'm more than happy to volunteer some poster design and webcomic assistance. I have some bigger projects happening around the time of this contest's finale, but I can definitely help out with backgrounds and editing!

A teeny question with Rule #5: since the contest is now officially opening in 2018, would the stories still have to be "started in 2017"?

Hi ^^ I'd like to enter this contest if it's still active (if I can ever ACTUALLY finish a story for once) but I had a question. I have a story I just started writing recently and Xiumin is the main lead (for the first bit since things at the beginning are closely related to the group's birth order) but the other members feature heavily (it's an OT12 fic) and I was wondering if that would still be alright. I'm looking at having either Yixing or Joonmyun as a second lead as well if that makes any difference.
