The sun was ruthlessly blazing us in the afternoon. The heat created an atmosphere of an oven in the school gymnasium. Her friends brought their hand fans in hope to feel refreshment. They were seated in the third row of the bleacher while I lounged three rows away from her. My eyes went on her, as always. She was serenely sitting, looking so uncaring and pretty. Not giving a damn about the hot weather. I turned my eyes wistfully. 

I wanted to pout my damn mouth and sulk in the corner. I massaged my temple in frustration. I could feel my cheeks heating up and it was not the scorching temperature's fault! God. She's making me blush. My arse was as good as roasted if my friends saw me acting like this. They knew I like her but not in this severe, mind-altering level where I'd do silly things, like asking her out.

Yes. I confessed to her and asked if I could woo her. And damn it, she said nothing and just passed by me after. I cussed under my breath when I recalled what happened yesterday.

"Hey, idiot it's your team turn to play!" I recognized Yachi's loud voice across the court. I didn't mind him. 

With my head tilted to her direction, my gaze crawled its way on her presence.

"Myungsoo, you're playing next!" Something inside me pumped rapidly in anticipation. My brain smiled when our eyes met. I liked her attention. Every chance I could get, I wanted her attention on me.

She looked away. Jiyeon is so cute. I wanted to cover my face. Even if it only lasted for seconds, it made me happy. 

I stood up from my seat with a big grin plastered my face, "Coming!"
