Description

Imagine your crush approaching you with a smile, to borrow your notes. And of course, blinded by his charming smile, you just gave it to him. Only to realise later on that your handwritings were like scratches, and the notes were so inorganized, and the most important thing was, it was filled with doodles of your name and your crush's name, surrounded by hearts.

Chapter 1: Deja vu of my senior year, but it was my doodles of a matchmaking game with my crush's name on the back part of my physics notebook. He was absent the previous day, and he was sitting behind me , unfortunately for me, his seat mate was disorganized and doesn't frequently take notes, so he borrowed my notes instead. I only realized after 5 minutes of lending my notes to him that it had contained the MM game I played, and to my horror, he was freaking browsing the end part of my notebook. (Yes in HS, the end part of a notebook often contained some secrets so it's usually the first thing people look into, I know because I do the same when I borrow a notebook.) OML, I grabbed my notebook from his hands and tore the page away, but I knew he already saw a part of it, because he was smirking, and he kept on pestering me after in wanting to see the page I tore away but I crumpled it and hid it my pocket. I was really considering changing schools then, that's how drastic I was thinking then, because I didn't want to see him the next day or ever again.

I dreaded going to school the next day, but amazingly he was cool with it. He even offered to teach me physics because he was a genius at the subject, it was partly why I admired him. Funny, he became one of my good friends after that, but I had to get over my embarrassment for months. Too bad he had a girlfriend that time, and it was senior year, and he and I were going to different universities. So odds were against us, but if I had to re-live that experience again, I wouldn't hesitate to go through it all again, now if only he didn't have a girlfriend then, it would have turned out better.

Anyway your story made my heart smile. It was the happy ending that I wished I had for my senior year. Thank you for writing it!
