But dont worry, im still wrting Why dont you figure my heart story but time is limited so i'll fill in as much as i can people! Thanks for staying patient. Also i would like to update the story because i love to write it, not to feel oblige to keep on writing. But please enjoy reading although it'll be boring haha. I hope the story won't bored you out ! Author PoV

She puffs her chest, exhaling the remaining air, biting her lips as she begins to sweat, gulping as anxiety is slowly eating her up. Her thumbs are twirling as she steals her weak heart, reaching out her hands to unlock the lock screen.

Amber: Jackson, tell Dani I can't make it for the BBQ today. I'm sorry. I'm really really busy with work so I'll be staying at my colleague’s apartment for a month in the meantime since his house is closer to my work place.

And there, she taps the send button. Yes, she felt guilty for not keeping promises but for now, she'll have to pray hard for her fast recovery of her swollen eye, otherwise, she'll be interrogated by her juniors senselessly.

“Am, I'll going out now. My class is going to start soon so I'll be back in the evening.” The sudden soothing voice immediately burst her bubble of thoughts.

“. . .o-oh!” She answers. But her feet hastily make its way to the main door, directing the one and only question she had in mind. “What would you like for dinner?” she blurts out.

Krystal taps her index finger, swaying her hips slightly to the right.

“Hamburger?” She said spontaneously.

“Oh, Arraso.” Amber nods her head like a little kid.

“Yah, are you sure you don't want to call someone to take care of you?”

“What am I? I'm not a baby you know! Shoo!” Amber frowns, waving her hand lazily.

Krystal slightly chuckles, holding her books tightly within her grasp, swaying her dazzling hair and shoots her infamous smirk before leaving.

It left her stun, dazing to her natural smile. Amber shakes her head, “my eyes must have been in a severe condition.”

Then she felt the buzzing sound just right at her pocket.

Jackson: Noona, it's okay. We understand your situation. Btw, me and Dani will be going without you ehehe! Oh and don't let the other llama friends bite your !

I silently grin. “Aish, these two.”

After that, I texted my café boss about my current condition and he gave me two weeks of rest, proclaiming that he doesn't want his favourite employee to scare the customers with my swollen eye. Well, I did ask him a favour to lie Key and the others that I'll be leaving for personal matters.

Might as well keeping this to myself. Then, another notification display on my phone screen.

Jackson: But if you'll be busy with work, are you still attending class?

I smack my lips, tapping my left foot to think this through. How can I go though this without them knowing I got myself injured? For the longest time of flipping my inner brain for options and ideas, then, a bulb just imaginarily pop out from my head.

I quickly take my phone and dial a particular person I had in mind. It’ll be totally a brilliant idea and my beloved juniors will surely never know about it.

“Okay. Class is dismissed!”

Everyone got up from their seats, eager to exit the theatre room in a jiffy.

I stretch my numb legs, starting to move from my respective seat, arranging my books neatly and place them right into my bag.

From the exit, I could see my boyfriend leaning his back onto the side of the door, allowing anyone to access their view on his side-profile. He smiles at me as if nothing had happen.

Immediately, I show my cold stone and emotionless expression, of course my notorious ice princess mode: on.

I'm still angry with him, mainly, I'm well perceived that if he hadn't brought me to the gatherings, surely the troubles from last night shouldn't have extent to Amber and for her to end up in her current state. Just thinking about it really flickers my burning heart. I walk towards his way, snatching my bag away before storming out the hallway.

He quickly holds onto my hand with much force. “Krystal! Wait!”

“Let me go.” I said with a gruff voice, not even sparing a glance at him.

“Babe, I'm sorry about last night.” He murmurs.

“I don't have time for you.” I growl, ignoring his apology.

“Is this always about you?” He flares up, hinting his vexing struggles to keep his cool, squeezing his grip a little tighter than usual.

I slip my hands from his grasp, slapping his hands away, glaring at him with an obvious sign of ‘seriously?’ revealed on my face. “If you're upset with me, let's break up.” I dare him.

I despise to be in a relationship like this, that would constantly eliciting depressing yet sadness that drags a certain relationship up to nowhere. I don't favour attachments to such burdening emotions.

Kai sighs, ruffling his hair as he looks at Krystal. His eyes seem to soften. “Look I'm really really sorry. Do you know how worried I am when you disappear?”

I scoff, retorting back at his remarks. “Huh, none of this would happen if you never take me that stupid gathering.”

It's plainly perspicacious for me to grasp that any more than this would strongly sour our relationship. I'm not a keeper and it was never me who would fight for our relationship. No matter how many relationships I got myself involved, I can never bring myself to open my heart.

“Okay. Fine I'm really sorry. I promise I won't take you anywhere without your consent.” He states his words firmly.

This time, I realise that all eyes are on us. I click my tongue, loathing the attention that are solely focusing on us. I sigh. “Fine, just. . . give me some time to cool myself off.”

He frowns. “Look, babe. I know you're angry but can we just make up already? Your attitude always make our relationship sour and I hardly could persuade you when it happens.”

This time, I could tell, he's truthfully exclaiming his feelings

that has been bottling up until now. His states has no greyscale, only the polar extremes exist. His heart is about to burst since I'm the type who doesn't give in easily, unlike his past girlfriends I suppose.

“I forgive you.” I croon causally.

His eyes bulge as he gazes at me in surprise. “really? You serious?!”

“Yeah.” I assure him.

“Okay. Babe, want me to take you to dinner tonight? I know this nice Italian restaurant.” He beams happily.

“And we're going to your house again?”

His smile fade, replaced with a confused look vividly appear on his face. “Isn't that how we spend our time together?”

“Hmn. I think that's how YOU spend your time with girls.”

“W-what? It's normal for guys to be ‘frustrated’.” He whines. Yup. It's inevitable to see that it's all about him and his hormones let loose again. I'm getting tired at this.

I chuckle hysterically, “Well, since you're looking at me as a stress reliever for your ‘needs’, why don't you go look up for a hooker instead?” I shoot him a sardonic grin before leaving him, rooting to the ground.

This time Kai doesn't seem to respond at all.

I march into my car, slumping onto the driver’s seat, tossing my bag to the passenger’s seat while groaning, slamming my right fist onto the damn steering wheel. I'm upset, but what am I expecting from anyone to do? Loving me unconditionally? Just what am I carving for in a relationship aside from doing ‘it’ on bed?

I drive back to my condo, using the elevator to ascend to the top of the building. I'm seriously tired from the argument we had.

As soon as I unlock the passcode to my condo’s door, I could instantly pick up an aromatic smell of poultry lingering around my condo.

Oh, I forgot, it dawn to me that Amber is currently staying with me.

A sprinting llama comes out from the kitchen to great me “Welcome back!! Food’s almost done! You should wash up before then.” She smiles genuinely before popping back to the kitchen. She's not wearing her glasses this time.

I don't know why I find myself smiling and the fuzzy feeling is coming back to me again. I never knew that coming back to this empty condo would be heartwarming yet pleasant, somewhat a perfect epitome of a place where I belong to, for me to relax and not constantly be on my guard. I'm tired of of keeping my aloof attitude up in public, adding the fact I had to look good to please everyone's eyes including my parents.

There was never a time where omma and appa came home just to sit and have a meal with us. Jessica unnie was busy at school activities. It was always me, sitting at the corner of the spacious dining room of a large mansion, hearing the echoes of the cutleries making 'clanging' noises as I eat. I don't really have fond memory of being in a fitting picture of a warm welcoming happy family despite Jessica unnie always tell me that Omma and Appa used to spend time with us until the buisness got expanded to the overseas. I can't seem to complain, not when at one point Appa lashes out at my 5 year old self to compromise his position as the President of the Jung Corps.

My eyes peer at the llama who's in the kitchen, cooking for our dinner. Even just for a moment, she unconsciously fold up her sleeves and it makes me wonder why my eyes are gluing to her muscular arms again? Hmn. I must be tired.

Krystal doesn't mention anything throughout the dinner, quietly eating her scrumptious hamburger and the extra side dishes placed on the table; vegan potato salad and some grilled bacon.
