“We can’t just walk in and kill the leader, we need a plan for that we need background knowledge.” Wendy stated looking at the two members who had the most knowledge.

“Well they live in an empire and there’s lot’s of people that are very angry.” Joy replied causing Wendy to groan at the lack luster response from the younger girl.

“It is a hidden empire full of trained warriors, they are some of the most skilled warriors you would meet in your lifetime. It would be suicide to walk through there and kill the leader.” Seulgi replied expanding on Joy’s explanation before Wendy could chide the younger girl.

“It would be better to start by getting rid of the people in charge of their operations, the leader would lose power and then he’ll be isolated.” Joy said causing Wendy to clap whilst the other’s stared at her strangely.

“That’s the type of information I’m after.” Wendy said pleased with the response this time causing Joy to laugh along with her.

“How do we get to them?” Yeri questioned causing Wendy to stop clapping.

“They’re the ones who come out to check on operations, the leader stays in his throne room I don’t know how we could get to him though.” Joy replied thinking back to the many instances she had crossed paths with the leader, all he had done was sit in his throne room and shout Joy thought frowning at the thought of him.

“If we’re able to draw the people in charge out and get rid of them he’ll be forced to come out and see what’s happening that’ll be our chance.” Irene said looking at Seulgi to reaffirm the plan, Seulgi couldn’t help but smile as she looked at Irene and agreed with her.

“It’ll be our only chance so we need to act swiftly.” The girls couldn’t help but cheer as the first few steps were coming along much swifter than they would have thought. “Come on we should get going.” Seulgi said getting up and stretching.

“Where are we going?” Irene questioned Seulgi who stood in front of her with an outstretched hand and a smile that she couldn’t help but return.

“I have a friend that can help us.” Seulgi replied recalling an old friend that would be vital in this war, I need to get to her before she decides to hunt for me Seulgi thought to herself as Irene took her hand and stood up.

“How do we get out?” Yeri questioned looking around the cave.

“Over here shorty.” Joy said causing the younger girl to scowl at her nonetheless Yeri walked towards a grinning giggling Joy.

“Why do they look like they’ll kill each other?” Wendy whispered causing Seulgi and Irene to chuckle.

“They might do.” Seulgi whispered causing Wendy to gasp and walk towards the bickering duo and calm them down.

“Do you think they will?” Irene asked inquistivly looking on as Wendy was able to slightly pacify Yeri.

“No Joy’s too fond of Yeri.” Seulgi replied looking down at Irene who tugged on her arm.

“And you?” Irene asked wrapping her arms around Seulgi’s whilst her eyes were looking at Joy and Yeri who looked like they were being reprimanded by their mother.

“I’m fond of Yeri too.” Seulgi replied watching Irene turn her head up to look at Seulgi, her large Doe like innocent eyes momentarily stunning Seulgi, she truly is beautiful Seulgi thought as she admired the princesses features.

“And me?” Irene whispered shyly a blush rippling it’s way over her cheeks as her eyes looked away for a moment, before looking back at Seulgi who couldn’t help but smile wider than she had before causing her eyes to disappear in to crescents whilst her nose crinkled up, Irene couldn’t help but stop and look at the taller girl, cute Irene thought before snapping out of her thoughts due to Seulgi’s response.

“Very fond.” The response was simple but Irene couldn’t help the pounding of her heart increase as she giggled.

“Come on we have a duty to complete.” Irene said holding on to Seulgi’s hand delightfully surprising her but she wasn’t one to argue with this amount of affection from Irene. “What do we do here?” Irene questioned as they walked towards the others who were stood on an ornate gold emblem they didn't know belonged to who.

“By holding on to each other hands I’ll be able to transport us down to the ground.” Seulgi replied holding Wendy’s hand silently cheering to herself that Irene was already holding her hand.

“I thought your powers didn’t work here?’ Irene questioned holding on to Seulgi’s hand tighter, the magic user simply squeezed her hand to reassure Irene that everything would be fine.

“This emblem is etched with ancient powers only a few can use it if Seulgi fails here we have to take another three day hike down.” Joy replied causing Yeri to gasp.

“Please Seulgi I don’t want to walk anymore.” Yeri pleaded causing them to laugh.

“So you’re enjoying the benefits of magic?” Joy questioned causing Yeri to jab her in the ribs.

“I don’t like ma…” Before Yeri could continue she was immersed in the beauty of a glow that surrounded them. The girls looked around as their eyes took in the sapphires, yellows and purples that surrounded them, Seulgi shut her eyes and concentrated harder and with a zap they were whizzed away.

The queen paced the length of her room at a loss of what to do. The validity of the prophecy was up for debate however its aim was precise. There was going to be war but there was no clear cut answer as to who was going to stop it, destruction of the motherland The queen thought to herself thinking which land would be the one to e destroyed. At this rate it’ll be my kingdom with that the queen left her quarters pacing past all the servants and soldiers that bowed to ho her.

“Your majesty is everything alright?” Chagmin asked running up to the queen as he saw her walk towards the soldier’s chambers.

“I was on my way to see you.” The queen said coming to a stop. “I need you to summon all four kingdoms for a meeting tomorrow noon, tell them it is of upmost importance regarding the wellbeing of our kingdoms.” Changmin agreed rushing away to gather his troops to deliver the message.

It may just be time to abandon this search, Vesalis will not be concerned over the three for much longer, they’ll focus on the bigger picture and that’s reigning over our kingdoms. The king of Luxor’s words rang loud and clear in her mind. Was she to choose her duties of being a queen over her duties of a mother? They both couldn’t go hand in hand and now time was slipping by her fingertips.

“Your majesty.” A voice called turning around the queen saw it was Changmin who was panting it seemed he had run quite a distance.

“Changmin what are you doing here?” The queen questioned looking at the soldier in confusion.

“The kingdom of Ares has been attacked soldiers have arrived at the front gate with injured civilians.” Chagmin replied stunning the queen, she felt a rage to the attackers and sadness for those that lived there, there was much more at stake than simply her kingdom now.

“Bring them in make sure everyone is treated to, call all of the doctors we have.” The queen ordered following Changmin who rushed to where the injured were. Soldiers and servants alike both attended to the civilians in need, rushing past and helping as many as they could in an attempt to stop further devastation for the people of the kingdom.

“Are you alright?” The queen asked the king and queen of Ares who were stood straight attempting to be strong for their people but anybody could see the cracks of their façade as a tear slid down the queens face.

“In the midst of the battle Jessica and Krystal were separated.” The king replied solemnly looking at his son who was helping the civilians find their families and help those that needed to be attended to.

“Another battle with two more princesses missing this can’t be a simple coincidence can it?” The queen questioned thinking back to her own children that went missing, what could they possibly want from the princesses? The queen thought as she enveloped the queen of Ares in a hug, a hug the other queen reciprocated immediately.

“Come on princesses the quicker we make it there the quicker we can eat.” Joy said chugging down the last of the water they had left.

“Great now we’re more likely to die of dehydration.” Yeri complained causing Joy to backtrack to the other girl and hit her on the head with the water bottle.

“Wow Yeri I can’t tell if the flowers or more beautiful or you are.” Wendy said jumping in to the middle before the two started chasing after each other. Yeri couldn’t help but laugh and agree seemingly forgetting about Joy and plucking out a few flowers.

“Wow to stop her from saying anything all I have to do is feed her narcissism.” Joy stated causing the others to laugh except Yeri who was plucking the petals from the flowers.

“Look Joy I found you.” Yeri said showing the bud of the flower with all the petals gone, Yeri was laughing as Joy chased the younger girl.

“Don’t attack my beauty!” Joy exclaimed chasing the young princess.

“They really can’t be stopped can they?” Wendy questioned sighing in defeat as her two companions laughed causing her to sigh deeper as it affirmed her answer.

In a split second their laughter seized as they heard a thunderous scream, more like a dolphin screech Seulgi thought as she covered her ears. Irene seemed to recoil in to Seulgi as she held on to her ears as if they were going to fall off any second, she must be afraid of loud sounds Seulgi thought looking at the shorter girl who’s brows were furrowed. Putting a hand on her shoulder Seulgi alerted Irene the screech had ended causing the older to sigh in relief, Wendy seemed startled as she looked at Seulgi in confusion. With quick steps Seulgi made her way over to Joy and Yeri who were talking to two girls.

“Why are you screaming?” Joy asked to the two girls who were hugging each other.

“You kidnapped Yeri so you’re part of them.” The taller of the two said glaring at Joy.

“Who?” Seulgi questioned as she stood beside Joy causing the shorter girl to scream once again.

“Would you please just be quite.” Joy stated to which she received a cold glare instead making Joy shiver. “Damn she’s scary.” Joy mumbled causing Yeri to laugh.

“You’re part of the group that took our kingdom.” The taller girl replied, having a look at their clothes Seulgi saw they were of royalty.

“Princesses of Ares what are you doing here?” Irene questioned stepping forward to talk to the girls who were glad to see another familiar face.

“Our kingdom was taken by those red eyed freaks, we lost everyone in the chaos and ended up running away from the ones who were chasing us.” Jessica replied regaining her composure as she explained the situation.

“But what are the three of you doing with these people, your mother and brother are looking for you?” Krystal asked the girls who went silent for a moment as they thought of what to say.

“Seulgi here...” Irene started pointing at the taller girl who merrily waved at the two sisters who looked at her in disinterest causing Joy to chuckle. “Saved our lives, when we were attacked Wendy was put under a curse that only Seulgi knew how to break.”

“And now I’m here ready to kick some .” Wendy cheered lifting her leg up and kicking Irene’s causing Irene to turn around and hit her.

“So you trust them?” Jessica asked to which Yeri nodded.

“They haven’t given us a reason not to.” Yeri replied as the sister looked over at the group skeptically.

“We should get going if there were soldiers following you it won’t be long till they find you.” Seulgi said watching carefully to see whether or not they would come with them or not.

“But you’re part of the enemy.” Jessica stated taking a step back; no matter how many times Seulgi heard that she couldn’t help the stab in the chest she felt. It was true but her eyes couldn’t define the true person she was, it was her actions but even then she was judged by the eyes before anything else.

“Only because they share the same eyes as those vultures who attacked your kingdom doesn’t mean they shares their values.” Irene stated her voice hard as if she was tired of hearing the same thing being said, Joy couldn’t help but smile as she heard Irene.

“I like her.” Joy whispered to Seulgi as she pointed to Irene, Seulgi couldn’t help but agree, the older girl gave them the essence of being safe with her words alone.

“Where are you going?” Krystal asked looking at Irene who in return looked over to Seulgi who started to smile once again.

“Just straight ahead.” Seulgi replied walking ahead with Joy by her side.

“Does she ever stop smiling?” Jessica asked the girls as they followed Seulgi to a possible death trap in her eyes.

“No.” Irene replied with her own smile, as she looked towards Seulgi who was busy conversing with Wendy about food.

“Wow is it possible to bring some food from these timelines?” Wendy questioned in amazement as she looked at Seulgi and Joy in wonder.

“How about we do one better and take you to these timelines?” Joy questioned to which Wendy eagerly nodded her head.

“After this war is resolved we’ll have a trip as a group right?” Wendy questioned in return to the two magic users who looked at both Yeri and Irene who were busy talking to the princesses of Ares.

“If they agree to it we’ll go.” Seulgi replied causing Wendy to cheer.

“What are you cheering for?” Yeri questioned from the back.

“You’ll find out once we’ve won.” Joy replied leaving Yeri even more curious.

“We’re here.” Seulgi stated stopping in the middle of the forest, looking around there were trees nothing more for the acres that stretched out before them.

“Are you ditching us here?” Jessica asked to which Seulgi shook her head, instead the girl took out her hand and placed it in front of her, everyone watched in silence as a green light reflected in Seulgi’s hand. Kneeling on one knee Seulgi put her hand on the floor, before anybody could question what she was doing a series of clicks followed.

“Right through here and we’re all safe.” Seulgi said replying to Jessica’s earlier question, putting a hand on the floor Seulgi found a handle which she lifted opening the door to an underground home. Using the ladder at the side Seulgi made her way down first with Joy being the last so she could close the concealed entrance.

“Where are we?” Wendy asked walking through the hallway, which were simply bricks covered with torches to give light.

“Under the forest, I have a friend who can keep the princesses safe and help us out.” Seulgi replied opening the mahogany door at the end of the hallway. As soon as the door opened they were greeted to the sight of a young athletic girl stood at the entrance with a sword trained on them. “Yuri.” Seulgi greeted lowering the sword in Yuri’s hand before she swung at them.

“Seulgi, Joy it’s been awhile.” Yuri greeted the two before turning her eyes to the group her eyes momentarily bulging out of sockets.

“You have four members of royalty with you, what are you two doing?” Yuri questioned ignoring the lingering gazes of one of the princesses.

“The kingdom of Ares was attacked and we found the princesses and saved them, it was the same thing with the other three as well. Seulgi we’re basically heroes.” Joy said with a smug grin.

“So what do you need from me.” Yuri asked signaling to the other girls they could take a seat inside, I’m probably going to be one of their baby sitters Yuri thought.

“Well we’re taking down Vesalis.” Joy replied causing Yuri to start choke on air.

“Ves.. Vesalis? You’re going to…?” Yuri questioned throwing her fits up to signal a fight.

“Yes but we’ll need your help.” Seulgi said making Yuri sigh and rub her temples the task had become much more complicated than she had initially thought, good thing I was ready for it Yuri thought glancing over at her overstocked bookshelf.

“You’re going to die doing this.” Yuri stated looking at the duo, the others simply sat down and listened to the conversation wondering how Yuri would help them.

“He’s started a war people are already dying, one kingdoms been taken.” Seulgi said looking over to Jessica and Krystal effecting Yuri more than she would care to admit as she took in the appearance of the two sisters, they were both dirty, tired and helpless; the complete opposite of how they would portray themselves..

“What do you need from me?” Yuri asked keeping her eyes fixed on Jessica who couldn’t look back at her; does she really want to forget me? Yuri thought watching as Jessica kept her eyes trained on the floor instead.

“You’ve been keeping track of the people in charge of the operations I need the list.” Seulgi replied, Yuri walked to a bookcase and took out a thick leather ledger handing it over to the girls’ outstretched hand.

“It tells you when, where and how many scouts there are but you need to be careful if even one commander reaches the empire with news of what’s happening you’re threating more lives than you realize.” Yuri warned as Seulgi and Joy flipped through the pages.

“Three commanders in control of the war.” Joy stated her face hardening as she read the names.

“Three chiefs who are also in charge.” Yuri commented.

“Commanders take the night shift chiefs have a day job so if we do this we stake them day and night then attack.” Seulgi said to which Yuri nodded.

“It’s the ultimate reckoning of war if that’s what we do.” Yuri said grimly.

“Will he come out if we do that?” Seulgi questioned.

“I would guess so.” Yuri replied.

“Why are you going in to this war with a probably shouldn’t it be a definite or else let the kingdoms fight the war.” Krystal asked the trio.

“His commanders and chiefs are people he knows, with them dead he’ll be angry he’ll come out with his people ready to slay everybody.” Yuri replied scaring the girls as they thought of the amount of soldiers Vesalis could possibly have.

“We need him out of the kingdom so we can destroy his power source if that source is not destroyed then he’s invincible.” Seulgi stated heaving a heavy sigh as she put down the ledger.

“We’ll need help from the kingdoms in that case.” Wendy said causing all eyes to be on her. “We need the soldiers to attack them whilst someone sneaks in to Vesalis to destroy the power source.”

“We need to speak to mother.” Irene muttered looking at Seulgi. “We need to go home and speak to mother she maybe the only person to believe us.”

“If I go with you then she’ll think I’ve hypnotized you or something.” Seulgi said to which Irene shook her head.

“When it come to the safety of the kingdom mother should believe me after all I went missing for a reason.” Seulgi couldn’t help but agree with the point.

“We speak to mother first from there we see what transpire after that we hunt the chiefs and commanders.” Irene stated to which the girls agreed.

“I have a question that’s been on my mind for a while.” Yeri said causing all eyes to turn on her.

“What is it?” Joy questioned watching Yeri look at Yuri in fascination.

“Yuri you were in exile right?” Yeri questioned causing Yuri to smirk whilst Joy laughed at the older girl who stood up straight and rolled her shoulders back as if to dominated her presence.

“You still remember me?” Yuri questioned to which everybody nodded.

“You’re a legend to people like a myth.” Irene replied causing Yuri to laugh.

“I’m happy I was able to do something so extraordinary with my exile.”

“But that’s only because you went missing, where did you go?” Yeri questioned looking at the older girl who seemed indifferent.

“The people of Vesalis took me and started to do some experiments on me, I gained a few powers but it was physically taxing. Seulgi and Joy then came along and helped me escape.” Yuri replied looking over at the power duo and their different reactions.

“We’re basically living heroes.” Joy said smugly.

“Civil duties.” Seulgi muttered in an attempt to correct Joy.

“Since then I’ve been doing scouting on Vesalis thinking a time like this would come soon.” Yuri replied in pride as she looked at her ledger.

“It’s late now so we’ll visit mother tomorrow.” Irene said to which Seulgi agreed.

“Follow me I’ll how you guys where to sleep.” Joy instructed leading the group through a door, just before Jessica could walk past Yuri, the taller girl had grasped her hand stopping her from walking.

“What are you doing?” Jessica whispered attempting to shake off Yuri’s grip but it was too hard it would just leave an imprint on her, an imprint that she has never been able to wash off..

“I just want to talk.” Yuri replied calmly letting go of Jessica’s hand.

“What do you want to say? Hi Jessica I’m back after five years, I was alive but thought I shouldn’t tell you.” Jessica spat causing Yuri’s anger to slightly flare up, she can't just say all this without even knowing what happened Yuri thought balling her fists as past memories flooded her mind.

“That’s not fair I had no other choice…” Before anything else could be said between the duo Krystal poked her head through the door looking at the two in confusion.

“Erm Jess come on let’s go to bed I’m tired.” Krystal said to Jessica who was glaring at Yuri.

"I'm tired too.” Jessica said to Yuri as she stalked off towards her bedroom, Yuri couldn’t help but feel the words were meant for her as her heart broke more than she thought possible.
