The attitude of the mind (also known as feeling) to have an expectation or desire for something in particular to happen, the outcome is normally something positive.

At first, I thought that I was useless, like a pathetic fool waiting for a miracle to happen. I thought I was the only one that was living in this miserable spot of Earth that was created just for me. I never knew that I was wrong until I bumped into them. 

Ho- how could they possibly make me reconsider about my life; that I was not living in this misery alone? How was I possibly going to help them when I'm struggling with myself too? 

I was once scared and struggling, but now I'm not as I know that they would help me and bring my happiness back to me while I bring theirs back to them. 

I too, know that this was not the period of misery but of beauty, the beauty that is also known as The Most Beautiful Moment in Life.
