Aria is a teenage princess in England. Afraid of the fate a fortune teller predicted for Aria her parents prohibit her to leave the palace without being accompanied. Aria, being the rebel she is, leaves the palace secretly and explores the city. When she reaches the forest she meets a strange young man called Alexander. The latter introduces himself as a wealthy nobleman who left his home in the city to live alone in the forest. Aria is attracted to Alexander so she escapes the palace a few times more and their feelings for each other grow deeper.

On Aria's 16th birthday her parents promise her to fulfill one of her wishes. Aria asks her parents to allow her to go for a trip with a boat. Her parents opposed to her idea at first, but they finally agree. The king prepares a ship, full of his most capable man to accompany his young daughter and everything is ready. Aria informs Alexander about the trip and she bids him goodbye for a few days.

The trip doesn't turn out the way they imagined it to be. The bad weather causes the ship to sink and the survivors land in a mysterious place. There they understand that they are in a foreign country called Goryeo. The country's officials take them to be interrogated by the king. The sudden disappearence of some of the survivors causes the king to think that they are planning something against his kingdom and he decides to execute them all, except for the princess which he grew fond of.

Aria manages to save her crew and send them away safely, but she is forced to marry the king. A ceremony is being held and the two of them get married. Time passes and Aria finds herself immersed to the king. They fall in love and their first child is born. However, their happiness isn't bound to last. Alexander finds Aria's whereabouts and he is decided to get revenge.

Aria's daughter is missing and the palace is in a mess. The guards guarding the baby princess are found dead with mysterious wound on their necks. Aria then remembers a legend the people in her kingdom kept telling. The legend of the 3 vampire brothers. Afraid for her daughter's life she leaves for her hometown, in search of Alexander.

When she finally enters her old palace, she tells her parents what happened and asks for help. There she is confronted by a new reality. According to her parents, when she was a baby a fortune teller visited the palace to bless her. However, when he saw the child, terror was written in his eyes as he told her fate to her parents. "This kid is cursed. She is bound to be the love of the monster."

Aria finds Alexander, but he has a little surprise for her. He tells her her daughter is alive, but she will never see her again. Alexander then shows his true self at Aria. Aria’s fear has been confirmed. Scared she runs for her life, but Alexander catches on with her and bites her. “You’ll live all your life searching for your daughter, but you won’t be able to find her. You won’t be able to return to your parents or your husband because you’re a monster too now. Everytime you’ll see a human being you’ll want to devour them. 900 years later Aria lives in South Korea. One day she comes across a very familiar face. Her husband, the king, is reincarnated and goes by the name Oh Sehun. Aria finds a reason to live again. She attends the same school and approaches the young man. Sehun feels like he knows Aria his whole life and his feelings for her develop quickly.

Soon, their life is exposed to a big threat. Aria has to confront her fate and save her loved ones. Will she be able to do it?
