Introducing Wave, a brand new trainee au representing k-wave and the kpop scene. join our roleplay for the infamous and rigorous trainee life. once you join, you will fill out an application and through that, we will determine which company most suits you. from there, your trainee life will begin Through your extensive participation in games and events. Through a point system, your company CEO will determine how hard you're working and whether or not you'll be able to debut.
how is it an au but non-literate?
wave is a highly game and event based au. we feel that making it literate will make tl messy and crowded. you are free to plot in dm if you like but on timeline, please tweet as you would in a normal, non-au agency.
why the application? why cant we just choose?
instead of simply choosing the company that appeals most to you, the application mimics the real life situation of "auditioning" for a company. we feel it'd be best if we looked at your personality and intrests and place you where we think you belong. kind of like the sorting hat in harry potter. also, through your application, we will also be able to create your profile. don't be too intimidated, the application will ask you of your prefrence as well.
what happens when you debut?
when you debut, to put it simply, you will still be participating in games and collecting points. Debuted artists collect points for popularity and fame. if you don't meet the minimum required points your company has set, after you debut, you will be in danger of disbanding.
can you switch companies?
trainees may switch companies whenever but their point count will return to 0. debuted artists may not unless they have been disbanded.
how long will it take to debut?
keep in mind that this is a "trainee based au", too many debuted people will take away from our purpose. of course that doesn't mean we will take 3 months before we debut anyone, just please understand that it may take time. especially if our member count is low.

how are groups formed?
like real life, your company ceo will be choosing your group mates. don't worry though, we will be keeping a close eye out to whom you work the best with. if you decide to go solo, please make sure you discuss it with your company ceo.
is dating allowed?
no. strictly no relationships. like real life, trainees and idols must focus on their career. please do not join if all you're looking for is someone to date. and please refrain from flirting.
will games be hosted by company or collectivly? / how many games a day?
both! there will be a game account but companies will also have to host many games dedicated specifically for their own trainees.
as for how many games a day, it depends on activity. some days there might be 3-4, some only 1 game, some days, none at all. if we play too many games, people will get tired and stressed over points. we still want this to be an enjoyable roleplay experience.
how do points work?
the amount of points you need to debut may vary depending on your company. points you may earn through games wll be established before the game is played. you will never lose points for getting something wrong or by not playing. the only way you may only lose points is if you decide to switch companies or break one of the rules.
