A shriek made Hayi paused from putting the now-cleaned plates on the dish rack. She hurriedly run towards the living room where the scream came from and saw the two most important people in her life on the sofa. Bobby was busy tickling a little 4-year-old boy that looked exactly like him. Hayi smiled and watched them as happy laughs filled their home. She thank all the gods for giving her this family.

She looked on the clock by the wall and saw the time. Her brows furrowed. It’s already 8. She loudly cleared which caught the attention of the two.

“Omma!!” The little boy excitedly called and run towards Hayi who picked him up. “Appa is so bad. Tickling me,” he said and Bobby pout as he approached them.

“Yah, Kim Haneul! How could you do this to appa? You’re double-crossing me,” he childishly said which made Hayi rolled her eyes and Haneul giggled.

“Seriously Jiwon? I told you to make Haneul sleep. Look, it is way passed his bedtime,” she sternly said. Before Bobby could answer his wife, his phone ring. He frowned when he saw who was calling.

“It’s Hanbin. I have to answer this,” Bobby said and Hayi understandingly nodded and walked towards Haneul’s bedroom, leaving Bobby on the living room. Hayi was 100% sure, that it was about iKON’s 15th year anniversary album. She couldn’t help but smile as she opened the door of their son’s room.

15 years. So much happened on those 15 years. A lot of issue and scandals. And of course, people almost got menboong. Bobby’s two-year service on his 28th birthday started, which brought tears to iKONICs. Then he came back on Hayi’s 29th birthday and iKON even release a new single five days after. A week after, their engagement happened which shock the whole Kpop world. And two months after, their wedding happened. It was so private, only the people close to them were invited. They continued their careers after. But then when 2026 came, she became pregnant. And the most crucial part of their lives happened when she gave birth on November 22, 2026, to Kim Haneul. A month after Haneul was born, she had a meeting with Yang Hyunsuk and YG’s board of directors. And then and there she decided. And another news shock YG-stans and HiceCreams. She decided to leave YG. To leave the K-pop industry. To be a full-time housewife. While Bobby remained. He stayed with iKON. It was either Bobby or Hayi leaving and she knew, Bobby loved s so much to even think of leaving. And she never, not even once, regretted the decisions she made in her life.

And as Hayi tucked Haneul on his little bed, she couldn’t help but ruffled her son’s hair. He really was a miniature Bobby. From his guffy smile, to his small, slit-like eyes, and his bunny teeth. The only thing he got from Hayi was her cheeks, those high-boned cheeks. She smiled and absently nodded. Yes, she never regretted any of this. “Hi.” She looked up and saw her husband on the door, still holding his phone, looking so worried. She arched her eyebrow and he really looked troubled. Hayi went towards him and cupped his cheeks.

“Appa? Is something bad happened to Uncle Binnie?” Haneul asked which made his parents smiled. Haneul was always an intelligent kid. For a four-year old child, he could understand their situation. He knew that his father was often busy. Sometimes, his father didn’t come home. He was busy recording for iKON’s songs. And when his dad didn’t went home for more than a week, he understand that concerts were being held. Haneul actually watched iKON’s concert when he was 3. They stayed on the VIP section. Her mother disguised from head to toe and even Haneul wore a black cap that hide almost half his face while holding a konbat.

“No, buddy. Your Uncle Binnie is fine,” he laughingly said and sat on the side of Haneul’s bed. He softly ruffled his son’s hair and smiled. “There’s just a problem with one of our songs,” Bobby added and looked at his wife. “I need to go to to the studio,” he said and the hint of sadness on his voice made Hayi shook her head. She sat beside Bobby and held his hand.

“It’s fine Jiwon-ah. Go, fix whatever the problem is. I’m sure Hanbin is so panicking already,” she said and smiled at him.

“But today’s supposed to be my day-off. It’s supposed to be our family day,” Bobby argued and Hayi rolled her eyes.

“In case you couldn’t see, it’s night already. Haneul’s going to sleep. The day is ending, so no worries,” she explained and frowned when she saw the playful glint on his eyes.
