Now Or Never: A Magnetic Story
Description
A love story between two people who can only communicate through a gap in a wall.
In an alternative universe where the world is similar to our own, lies two towns. One town is on the North side and one town is on the South side. They both lie beside each other, but not joined. They are separated by a wall. A wall which completely hides the other town. But there is one difference; the towns are similar to magnets. With the people in the towns having different magnetic fields, they both repel each other.
But what if one day, a girl from the south side comes across a gap in the wall. A gap in the wall which leads to the other town. A gap where she meets a boy from the north side. After 10 years, Kwak Jin Kyeong and Choi Youngjae are desperate to meet each other and when they fall in love, their desperation deepens.
Foreword
{Jin Kyeong's POV}
"Do you have any green paper left?" Youngjae asked me. I put my piece of paper down and scrambled around the pile of paper which I had.
"Yes!" I said happily as I passed him a piece of green paper through the gap. He took it from me and thanked me.
"What are you making?" He then asked me. I placed my half finished swan in the gap. I bent my head to look through the gap as Youngjae did the same. We smiled to each other and he placed his finished owl beside mine.
"What! How do you finish so fast!" I whined loudly to him. He laughed and shrugged as he began making another one. I took my swan back out the gap to continue finishing it.
"You can keep this one." Youngjae told me later. I frowned as I reached into the gap and carefully pulled out another origami model. This time it was a piano. I smiled and held it in my hands carefully.
"Woah!~ Thank you! Do you play?" I asked him.
"Yes. I'll play it for you when we meet. If I could, I would put a piano here to play to you but I think it would attract attention." Youngjae said with a chuckle. I laughed and nodded.
"Do you think there were other people like us? Who spoke through the wall?" I suggested.
"Yes. I think there would have been others and they probably talked through this same gap like us." Youngjae said.
"What do you think happened to them?" I asked him.
He sighed, "I'm not sure. I hope they met. I hope we can meet." He told me as he reached his hand through the gap to hold mine.

This story was part of Who Is Your IGOT7 Secret Santa 2016? It was my gift for another IGOT7. I enjoyed writing this story since Youngjae is my bias, so I hope you also enjoy it.
