"Ji Wonnie. Last time I checked, I signed up for college, not military."

 

Ji Won chuckled. "I might have filled the wrong papers. But look at them, they're helpless." She pointed to a group of girls on the far left, they were busy picking out clothes for the night. It's not like they were going to go anywhere, weren't they?

 

But apparently they were, being woken up at midnight to do a stroll around the village in groups. The night was quite cold, so Hye Kyo put on a black turtleneck sweater, grey cardigan, black pants and long socks with boots.

 

"Oppa. Are they crazy?" She muttered to In Sung when she reached her blue group place. "Do they want us to look for ghosts?"

 

"Ya, you're the one who's crazy. Don't mention ghosts recklessly like that or you'll be followed by one." In Sung rubbed his palms, trying to warm himself.

 

"Oppa!" She pinched his arm hard, earning a scream from him.

 

"Ow! Ow that really hurts! Aish. Let's go." In Sung tugged her arms, and Hye Kyo looped her hands through his arm. She got no other choice, she didn't like darkness. Well, a dark village after midnight with who knows what hiding beneath.

 

It turned out to be some checkpoints where they got to meet their seniors from years above, getting to know them and given advices. Some of the checkpoints just wanted to have fun and they danced, or laughed together up until it finished at 2 a.m. Hye Kyo and Ji Won found themselves drifted off to sleep as soon as they reached their tent.

 

They gathered at 6 the next morning. Some of them haven't even showered, but some other even managed to have a full make up face. Hye Kyo decided to only wash her face, put moisturizer and sunblock on her face and skin, tied her hair up into a ponytail, then dressed with a black leggings and a loose t-shirt, as instructed. The seniors told them they were going to do some outdoor activities today.

 

After a few minutes of jogging, they were divided into their groups again and sent to different spots in which they were going to do different games. She of course was with In Sung who looked incredibly good today, because the shorts and t-shirt really showed his toned body off. Some girls squealed when they looked at him this morning, but I just rolled my eyes looking at how bright he was. I was never a morning person and so was my other close friend in the group, Sung Kyung. She grumbled at In Sung.

 

"Ya oppa! Can't you put on ugly oversized clothes instead? Those girls' noises are driving me crazy."

 

Hye Kyo nodded, making In Sung looked back at the noisy girls, and winked at them. Now they were screaming.

 

"You can't help it when you got a good look." He grinned.

 

"Aish, you're insane. Hye Kyo-ssi, come on." Sung Kyung shrugged him off and dragged Hye Kyo to a nearby tree. The sun was scorching hot, since they were on a huge field.

 

Hye Kyo noticed that she hadn't see the senior, Song Joong Ki. Maybe he couldn't make it to the camping trip, she thought. But when they moved to their next spot by the river, she heard giggles and squeals, so she looked up to see the photographer sunbae was sitting alone on top of a big rock, focusing on his camera instead. She couldn't help but stare, the guy she had been thinking all week was now in front of her in flesh. He wore a backwards cap, grey jumper, and black jeans. He obviously wasn't up to do games, or probably he just arrived. He then glanced down to the girls and waved, making them go crazy.

 

"Hye Kyo-ssi, are you admiring that sunbae? He's not good for the soul, too many lunatic girls around." Sung Kyung said, while getting her long hair in a bun, prepared to be bashed in water for this game.

 

"I know, right? Such a popular guy usually is up to no good." Hye Kyo replied, but her face started to tingle and she could feel warmth creeping up her cheeks.

 

While Hye Kyo was unfazed to her surrounding, drowning herself in the fun of the games, someone was watching her moves. He managed to get pictures of her here and there, doing things. He couldn't help but take pictures, since she looked attractive and natural, not like the other girls who looked superficial, with their heavy make up in the middle of a village camp ground. He would alternate between going alone and tagged his best friend, Kwang Soo to followed her junior's group movements.
