I stare at an empty wall my mind fuzzy due to the events that transpired a few days ago.

What the hell did I do wrong for you to deserve this?

If I should have known that this will happen, I should just have cook breakfast for you that day and not asked you to go out.

I should have held you close in my arms and just stayed in the house.

I should have persuaded you to skip work and stay with me the whole day making love.

I should have just ask you to stay at the hotel with your sister and not go home.

I should have kept you safe.

But here I am now regretting everything..
