A girl is walking barefooted in a village that looks like abandoned. Not a single person can be seen.

“Where’s everyone?” she asks. “Guys?”

Then, on the corner of her eyes, she saw someone move inside a house.

“Who’s there?” she enters the house but it is empty.

“Nancy…” someone called her.

She followed that voice until she get into the house at the end of the village.

“Nancy…”

She enters the house.

A girl wearing a black long dress is standing in the middle and the back is facing her.

But for her, the girl is familiar.

“Jisoo?” she said.

The girl turned around. She is holding a doll. She is crying but her tears are blood.

“Nancy, come with me.”

“N-No.” she said and runs to the door but the door seems so far away.

“Help me!” she shouts.

“Help me!” Nancy shouts and woke up from her bad dream.

Her heart is beating faster and there are sweats on her forehead.

“Good morning, sweetie.” A woman greets when she enters Nancy’s room.

The woman walk straight to the window to open it.

“Are you alright?” the woman asks.

“Y-Yeah. It is just a bad dream.” Nancy said and get off from the bed.

“Today is the big day.” The woman said.

“Yes.” Nancy said.

“Better get ready. Ryeowook is busy preparing the breakfast.” The woman said.

“Ok. Thanks, Aunt Ara.” Nancy said.

Nancy went to her bathroom.

Her name is Nancy Jewel McDonie. She is a South Korean-American that lives in South Korea with her Uncle Ryeowook and Aunt Ara. Her parents are divorced since 5 years ago and she can only see them during Christmas break.

After getting ready, she goes downstairs.

“Good morning, honey.” A man wearing an apron and holding a spatula greets her.

“Good morning, uncle.” Nancy greets and sat on the chair.

“I made you a Western-style breakfast.” Ryeowook said.

Nancy looks at her plate. There is a pancake and fruits on her plate.

“Isn’t it too many?” Nancy asks.

“You need to be prepared for your first day in university.” Ryeowook said.

“You’re right.” Nancy said. “Thanks for the food.”

It is just an ordinary first day in Seoul National University. Freshmen are coming in the university and that includes Nancy.

“Good luck, honey.” Ara said.

“Thanks.” Nancy said.

“See you tonight. I’ll prepare a very special dinner for you.” Ryeowook said.

“I’m going to look forward to it.” Nancy said. “Bye.”

Nancy gets out of the car.

She look at the big gate of the university.

She took a deep breath before starts entering.

She went to her first class.

“Nancy!” two girls called her name.

Nancy smiled when she saw them.

“Do Yeon! Somi!” Nancy said.

Kim Do Yeon and Ennik Somi Douma are Nancy’s friends in high school. The three decided to take Business Administration Course.

Do Yeon and Somi are childhood friends and they are always seen together.

“I’m glad we’re on the same class.” Nancy said.

“If only Chung Ha took the same course as us we will complete again.” Do Yeon said.

Kim Chung Ha is also their friend in high school. She’s the shortest among them but she is their vitamin. She is also studying in SNU but she is taking up a course in Music.

Nancy and her friends meet up at their favorite café after class. They will be meeting with their other friends that are also studying in SNU but different courses.

“Hey, girls!” three handsome guys said.

“You’re late.” Do Yeon said.

“I’m sorry, baby. We need to wait for Jin Ho.” The tallest guy said and sat beside Do Yeon.

His name is Park Seungjun, Do Yeon’s longtime boyfriend.

“Excuses. I’m sure you two checked out some girl seniors.” Somi said.

“Of course not, hon. We promised that we will stop fooling around.” The guy that sat beside Somi said.

His name is Son Hyunwoo, Somi’s fiancé. He and Seungjun are both taking Fine Arts.

“Jin Ho, where’s Chung Ha?” Nancy asks.

“I saw her with a new guy leaving the classroom first.” The shortest among the three said.

His name is Jo Jin Ho and he is taking Music Course along with Chungha.

After few minutes, a loud voice filled the cafeteria.

“Hey, guys!” a short girl with a loud voice said.

“Oh my. She’s embarrassing us.” Somi said.

“I didn’t know her.” Do Yeon said.

The short girl went to their table.

“I’m sorry I’m late.” She said.

“Hi, Chung Ha. How are you?” Nancy said.

“Nancy! You are still so beautiful.” She loudly said. “Where’s Yunsik?”

“He’s on his way now from his Taekwondo.” Seungjun said.

“Still doesn’t give up his Taekwondo.” Hyunwoo said.

“He will never give up because of his best friend.” Chung Ha said.

After teaching the new students Ryu Yunsik quickly change his clothes.

“Where are you going?” a girl asks.

“I’m meeting with my friends.” Yunsik said.

“It is first day of class.” She said.

“Yoon Ji, we never seen each other after our graduation.” Yunsik said.

Jeon Yoon Ji is Yunsik’s childhood friend.

“Ok, fine. I don’t want your friend to call me your mom.” Yoon Ji said.

Yunsik hugs her.

“Gomaweoh.” Yunsik said.

“Go home, early.” Yoon Ji said.

“Ne and I will call you once I got home.” Yunsik said.

“Good.” Yoon Ji said.

Yunsik left.

“Ah! Finally!” Hyunwoo said when they saw Yunsik arrived.

“Mianhae.” Yunsik said.

“Finally we’re complete again.” Chung Ha said.

“We’re not actually complete.” Nancy said.

Everyone keep quiet.

“Park Jisoo.” Nancy said.

“Oh please! Don’t mention the name of that creepy girl.” Do Yeon said.

“But she’s our friend.” Nancy said.

“She hang out with us because you invited her.” Somi said.

“And because of that my Seungjun got a scar on his face.” Do Yeon said.

“Thanks to the surgery and it is gone.” Seungjun said.

“She just fell in love.” Nancy said.

“Fell in love but she doesn’t know how to accept rejection, right Yunsik?” Somi said.

“H-Huh? R-Right.” Yunsik said.

“Let’s not talk about her. It’s been 2 years since she was gone. We don’t know where she is.” Hyunwoo said.

“How about let’s go to noraebang?” Chung Ha asks.

“Good idea.” Jinho said.

“I need to pass. Uncle Ryeowook and Aunt Ara are waiting for me.” Nancy said.

“What? But we only met again.” Chung Ha said.

“They are leaving tomorrow so this will be our last dinner together. Uncle Ryeowook will start working now as the vice-president of their business. Uncle Heechul is expecting them to go to US.” Nancy said.

“We can go to noraebang some other time.” Yunsik said.

“Ok, fine.” the girls said.

“Bye. See you at the university.” Nancy said.

“Ok.” They said.

“I’m home.” Nancy said.

“Hi, baby! You’re just in time.” Ryeowook said.

“How’s your first day?” Ara asks.

“Great.” Nancy said.

“Are you ready to live alone?” Ara asks.

“Uhmm… I think?” Nancy said.

“If you need someone to be with you here, you can call Jinho.” Ryeowook said.

“He’s a guy.” Nancy said.

“So? He is your first friend when you got here.” Ryeowook said.

“Still he is a guy.” Nancy said.

“Do you have feelings more than as a friend to him?” Ryeowook asks.

“None. He is just a friend.” Nancy said.

“Then, no need to worry.” Ryeowook said.

“Guys, it’s all set. Let’s eat.” Ara said.

It’s been a month since Nancy started to live alone. It is hard at first but she easily get used to it.

“Guys, don’t forget my birthday tomorrow, ok? I expect you all are coming and stay there for a night.” Somi said.

“I will be late there because tomorrow we will shoot our Taekwondo version of Ringa Linga but I will surely come.” Yunsik said.

“Good because I won’t forgive you if you don’t come.” Somi said.

“Shall we go now? We don’t want to be late in the concert of MONSTA X.” Seungjun said.

“Ok.” They said.

After the concert, they are now going home. They are all inside Seungjun’s car.

“I think I am better than Shownu.” Hyunwoo said.

“Oh really? Do you have hot body like him?” Chung Ha asks.

“Wanna see my 6 packs abs?” Hyunwoo asks.

“I don’t believe you.” Chung Ha said.

“Hyunwoo, she is not interested with you because she already have Sanha.” Jin Ho said.

“Your classmate?” Do Yeon asks.

“Yeah. Since the first day, those two are always together.” Jin Ho said.

“Shut up, Jin Ho. There’s nothing going on between me and him.” Chung Ha said.

“But you’re blushing.” Seungjun said while looking at Chung Ha from the rearview mirror.

“Yeah, you’re blushing.” Do Yeon said to look at Chung Ha who is sitting at the back seat.

Nancy’s eyes widened when she saw someone appeared in the middle of the way.

“Seungjun, watch out!” she shouts.

Seungjun looks back at the front and saw a woman standing on front of them and she is going to get hit by them.

“Sh*t!” Seungjun curses and turned the car to the left to avoid the woman.

He steps on the brake before he gets hit the tree.

“Everybody alright?” Seungjun asks. “Baby, are you alright?”

“Yah! You should be careful when driving.” Do Yeon shouts.

“But who’s that crazy woman? Is she trying to kill herself?” Somi asks.

They all look to check on the woman but it is gone.

“Better not show herself to me or I will really kill her.” Seungjun said.

“Let’s just all go home.” Yunsik said.

On the next day…

Everyone is having fun at Somi’s party in her house. They can do whatever they want because Somi’s parent are not there.

It is already late when they decided to sleep.

Chung Ha and Nancy are sharing in one room.

Yunsik and Jin Ho are sharing in one room.

Seungjun and Do Yeon are sharing in one room.

Hyunwoo and Somi are in Somi’s room.

Everyone is asleep.

Nancy is with her friends in their classroom in high school. They are chatting when their teacher came.

“You will have new classmate.” Their teacher said. “Her name is Park Jisoo.”

“Jisoo…” Nancy whispered.

A girl stands on the front.

“I miss you… guys…” the girl said before cutting with a knife.
