Excerpt:

_{She whipped her head around; a hand had grabbed her arm and tugged her inside. Her flashlight dropped though it didn’t make much sound on the carpet. Her body disappeared into the dark closet and the door slammed shut. What felt like clothing hangers and soft fabric hit her face along the way until a sturdy pair of arms wrapped around her upper body, trapping her movements, the previous hand moving from her arm to . She could see a part of the office, which her flashlight illuminated from behind the shelf, through the small slit between the two closet doors.}

_{She couldn’t scream; she wasn’t in the position to do so since she broke into the shop and nobody could’ve heard her or bothered to help her anyway. Her hands were pushed into her chest and she couldn’t reach her pocket knife by all means. She tried kicking back –trust me, she did—but whoever held her didn’t budge. She tried again and again, Seulgi’s words coming back to haunt her thoughts. She tried again out of desperation, only this time the arms tightened around her even more.}

_{A warm breath brushed against her earlobe and a voice she knew too well whispered, “If you want us to get out of here alive, listen carefully and don’t move.”}

Author's note:

I don't know if it's a curse or a blessing, really. Right as I reach the middle of a story I'm working on, an idea for a new story comes up to mind. Oh well.
