One more day in this hellish prison!

That was the first thought that popped into my mind after opening my eyes and noticing that the effect of the sedative had disappeared.

One more day without understanding what happened!

Although the effect of the sedative was gone, I still felt dizzy and confused. I looked around and memories of the times which I had spent in this room returned with full force to my mind.

I thought I would never come back to the place where I had remained locked up for seven long years, but I was back, completely still with my wrists fastened to the bars of the bed. I didn't even try to take off the handcuffs, that bound me, because I knew it was a useless effort. I didn't want to worry about them, either. My concern was that I had woken up in the room that was my private hell, but also my paradise.

The last time I had been here, the hospital had been on fire and I had been saved by him. I admitted that despite the deaths that occurred, I didn't feel sad about the destroyed building, where I had spent my teenage years.

How could I feel sad if I was finally free of the doctors and their thesis about my emotional state, which they considered unstable just because they couldn't define my illness?

As soon as they had noticed my presence, I had been carefully observed and examined by doctors because of my supposed behaviour change, which encouraged them to do a lot of exams that however got too nowhere.
