(1) Red Velvet Cafe's owner's daughter and in her last year of high school. is childhood friends with seokjin. suffering from postural tachycardia syndrome since early teenager, she becomes closer to kim taehyung after he helps her through one of her episodes. although her disease makes her prone to fainting at random times, she loves to dance.

(2) an aspiring singer that also loves to cook, she is seulgi's lively and bubbly best friend who likes to keep everything positive. because of her surprising talent for cooking, she is offered a part time job at Red Velvet Cafe and accepts it. initially thinks jung hoseok is a pain in the , but nothing is always as it seems.

(3) being incredibly smart, she skips one grade and is currently the youngest student in the eleventh grade. her straightforward, bold personality and beautiful singing voice attracts yook sungjae greatly. they are currently dating for a year already. kim yerim's best friend and partner in crime, also works at Red Velvet Cafe. 

(4) the youngest of the girls who work at Red Velvet Cafe, she is carefree and very playful and loves to joke around with sooyoung at the cafe. is very excited when bangtan sonyeondan first came but her expectations were crushed when she learned of jeon jeongguk's coldness. loves to dance, like irene and seulgi.

(2) the dancing prodigy and rapper who likes to joke around. he is considered the moodmaker because he's funny and fun to be around. in class, he once accidentally ruined another group's lab work during an experiment and instantly got onto son seungwan's bad side. then again, he always succeeds in making people like him.

(3) being bangtan sonyeondan's leader is no easy feat but he manages quite well. he is incredibly, extremely intelligent that balances itself out by his major clumsiness. even though he takes care of s, sometimes s are the ones who take care of him instead. his focus on the music industry excludes him from dating.

(4) bangtan sonyeondan's resident prankster along with jeon jeongguk and park jimin's bros for life™. his 4D personality and borderline ADHD makes him insufferable sometimes but he's actually very thoughtful and considerate, which is shown when he helps joohyun through one of her fainting episodes and is always there for jimin whenever he needs help.

(5) golden maknae that shows little respect to them good-naturedly. they love him nonetheless. he's super awkward with girls (and new people) despite his international playboy label. this awkwardness sometimes come out as rude and cold. unintentionally hurts kim yerim's feelings when he was panicked on how to deal with nice new people.
